Lagarde Style history The history of Bodega Lagarde dates back to the cultivation of the first vines and the birth of the wine industry in Mendoza. Established in 1897 and run by the Pescarmona family since 1970, the winery has always chased a central goal: to produce wines of the highest quality and to maintain a solid commitment to its land and its people. We are proud to be one of the oldest wineries in the region, our vineyards dating back to 1906 and 1930. innovation True to its commitment to innovation, Lagarde pioneered the introduction in Mendoza of non-traditional vines such as Viognier and Muscat Blanc. terroir Lagarde’s wines originate exclusively from grapes of its own vineyards to ensure each varietal re�lects the distinction of its terroir. With more than 790 acres of di�ferent terroirs located in Luján de Cuyo (Agrelo, Mayor Drummond, Perdriel) and Valle de Uco (Vista Flores, Gualtallary), each of the locations has been carefully selected according to the special conditions each variety needs to reach its maximum quality.

The Region
argentina is located in the southern area of the American continent.
mendoza is located in the center west of the country, at the foot of the Andes
mountain range. lagarde is situated in the high area of the Mendoza River, in
Luján de Cuyo, which is considered to be the prime wine growing region of the
country due to its unique variety and quality.
Its soil originates from the disintegration of minerals from the Andes
Mountains, which are carried by the water and deposited in layers of sandy
texture, with good drainage and poor organic matter content: it creates the
ideal conditions to produce high quality wines.

Precision Viticulture Precision viticulture is a vine management system based on the acknowledgment of the existence of variables (e.g. soil type, plant size and vigor) within a single parcel, and the possibility to measure them. Based on an assessment of each parcel’s variability, each area can be managed with a view to achieving homogeneity or diversity. Knowing this, several years ago, we started studying our soils and as a result, we have carefully surveyed and segmented each one of our parcels according to their potential, and this has allowed us to categorize our vineyards to obtain wines of greater quality and character. At Lagarde, we strive to reduce the impact of the winery’s activities on the environment, as we understand that the land is our source of work and raw material. This is why we work hard to pay tribute in each bottle, to what nature has to o�fer: The land, the climate and the vineyard. By means of responsible and proactive strategic practices, we hope to honor our commitment to the environment and the community and generate a long-term business development. The Winery
the beginnings
Still located in the original 1897 building, in the district of
Mayor Drummond, in Luján de Cuyo, the winery kept its
original architecture and treasures every instant of its history.
“Casona Patronal”, the large old manor, is still permeated
with the magic atmosphere of times gone by. Its thick
adobe walls, cane roofs and hard pine �loors converge in a
typical 19th century colonial patio.
This patio is a symbol of the winery’s charm and tradition,
which stands as a relic of Mendoza’s cultural heritage.

A RESTAURANT IMMERSED IN A TYPICAL VINEYARD AND OLIVE ESTATE, REMINISCENT OF THE EARLY WINEMAKING INDUSTRY OF MENDOZA. A restaurant situated in a typical vineyard and olive grove, reminiscent of the early winemaking industry of Mendoza. It is surrounded by the winery’s centennial vineyards, in a magical natural landscape where visitors can enjoy the warmth of our team and taste our great wines and gourmet dishes. Our cuisine uses only local ingredients coming from our organic garden situated next to the vineyard; and relies on a combination of several fire-roasting techniques, including iron sheet, ember, vertical spit, open-�lame and earth-oven roasting.

A line of true signature wines which are made only when a certain
vintage shows exceptional characteristics that inspire our winemaker
and founder, Enrique or “Henry” to create a special and unique blend,
that is di�ferent every year.
Our wines originate from grapes of low yield vineyards, with a long
maceration time and at least a three-year aging period. It has been
regarded as one of the highlights of Argentine red wines and is
already a classic in the Argentine wine history.

Lagarde is pleased to introduce Primeras Viñas, a collection of three
red wines, each of which is the result of the work and time invested in
researching our most special terroirs and working diligently on their
age and treatment.
Their production takes between 14 and 16 months in French oak
barrels, with at least 12 months of storage in a controlled
environment, resulting in great potential that can be enjoyed for 10-15
years. Only limited quantities are produced each harvest.

Proyecto Hermanas is a range of high-end wines born in 2017 as the result of
the passion that sisters Sofía and Lucila Pescarmona feel for wine, but also
thanks to the expertise they have acquired during the years they have been
in charge of Lagarde.

GUARDA Colección de Viñedos (Vineyard Collection) is a small
collection of wines resulting of long periods of investigation and
examination of the best terroirs within our estates.
Each wine is an accurate re�lection of a special vineyard located in a
micro region of Luján de Cuyo and Valle de Uco.
GUARDA Colección de Viñedos is a release of wines inspired by each
unique vineyard and their personalities. Drummond for our historical
Malbec, Perdriel for its wonderful complexity and luscious Cabernet
Francs and Gualtallary for the cutting edge present and future of
mouthwatering Chardonnays.

20% Merlot, 10% Syrah)The grapes that give life to these wines come from our centenary
estate in Mayor Drummond, in Luján de Cuyo, where the winery is
located. Historically, we have always worked sustainably, but in 2015
the o�ficial process to organically certify the vineyards and it´s grapes
began. These wines have no contact with wood.

Seductive, elegant wines with very good structure and complexity. We
have sought to highlight the maximum varietal typicity of each wine.
The grapes that give birth to these wines are sourced from vineyards
that were carefully selected according to the characteristics and
potential of the terroir for each variety.
A�ter aging from 8 to 12 months in oak barrels, the reds develop a
delicate balance between fruit and oak. This line includes: 100%
Cabernet Sauvignon, 100% Merlot, 100% Malbec, Blend of Red Wine ,
100% Viognier, 100% Chardonnay and a Rosé wine elaborated with
Malbec and Pinot Noir.

A range made of two blends whose varieties co-fermented
together and had minimal intervention in its production. With
these wines, we seek to highlight the quality of the grapes
produced by Bodega Lagarde’s own vineyards, which are the
result of years of sustainable work. The grapes come from our
estates located in Agrelo and Perdriel, in Luján de Cuyo.
