NATURE ADVENTURES AT FELIX NECK
We are able to offer unique experiences exploring the Sanctuary with groups of up
to 11 people* and a personal naturalist guide. With expeditions ranging from story
time visits with live critters to dissecting owl pellets to quiet contemplation there is
something for everyone at Felix Neck.

Pricing based on group size:
2 - 5 People       $150 / hour        6 - 9 People       $250 / hour
*groups are expected to be within the same household or quaran-team for safety reasons, and
must include at least one responsible adult. All party members must be included at registration

GUIDED WALK
Take a guided walk around the sanctuary. Topics of choice include: climate change, wild
edibles, birds and many more!

CREATURE FEATURE
We will get a chance to take a look at the critter of choice, (seasonally dependent), and
make crafts!

REPTILE-RAMA
Reptiles are an amazing group of animals. Are they slimy? Cold-blooded? What makes
a reptile a reptile? We’ll answer these questions and more while learning about snakes
and turtles when exploring their natural habitats!

FAMILY BIRDING 101
Families are invited to explore the Sanctuary in search of resident and migrating birds.
Learn how to use binoculars, your eyes, and your ears to find and identify birds.

TALENTED TALONS
Discover the physical and behavioral traits that birds of prey like hawks and osprey
have. Join us to take a closer look at our resident osprey, found right on our property
every summer!

SEASHORE DISCOVERY
Meet amazing creatures of the sea! Take a short walk through the forest to a protected
beach where you will explore shallow waters with dip nets and use a large seine net to
catch fish, crabs, and other pond wildlife! Wear clothes and shoes that can get wet and
don’t forget your hat, sunscreen, and mosquito repellent.

TANK TIME
It’s feeding time at Felix Neck! Meet our resident animals and learn about these critters
during their feeding time.

MORNING MEDITATION & LABYRINTH WALK
Come with your own intention and see what the labyrinth has to offer as you’re guided
through this seated and walking meditation.
Limited to 4 participants

MARINE DISCOVERY TOUR
Two hour tour; $750 up to 10 people, $900 up to 20 people pending state reccomendations
Cruise from Oak Bluffs Harbor with a Felix Neck naturalist to explore the waters of
Vineyard Sound aboard The Skipper. We check traps for crabs, fish, and shellfish that
live in the water surrounding the island. Participants will have a chance to look at the
catch up-close and try scup fishing if time permits.

To provide access for all, we ask for a donation if you are able
Our Access-Able program provides an opportunity to explore Felix Neck by those with
limited mobility. Led by Sanctuary staff on our golf cart, this one-hour guided tour will
highlight the property’s woodlands, marshes, and beach habitats.
Groups are limited to 2 people.

 Kayak Tour Expeditions
GUIDED KAYAK TOURS
Join a Felix Neck naturalist for an exploration of Sengekontacket Pond. Paddle by
Sarson’s Island to see nesting shorebirds feed and frolic. Explore the salt marsh and
search for pond wildlife. All trips focus on the natural history of saltwater communities
found on Martha’s Vineyard. Daytime, sunset and moonrise tour available.

Pricing based on group size:
2 - 5 Explorers    $350 2-hour program; 6 - 9 Explorers            $600 2-hour program

KAYAK & STAND UP PADDLE BOARD (SUP) QUESTS
Monday - Friday
Members: $50/person; Nonmembers: $60/person
Enjoy Sengekontacket Pond on this self-guided tour. Rhyming quest clues (think:
treasure hunt!) will help you uncover the story of the pond’s people, places, and wildlife.
Single and double kayaks and two SUPs available; call to reserve for up to 2.5 hours;
boats and SUPs must be returned by 3:30pm.

         Join Felix Neck Wildlife Sanctuary and wellness entrepreneur Ky Keenan,
       the founder of Not Your Sugar Mamas, Frankie’s Flatbreads, and Well Retreats,
              to bring high-vibe living Plant-Based Experiences into your home.

  Choose from our 4 curated experiences for up to 10 guests that can be hosted as a brunch,
lunch, or dinner in the privacy of your home. This fantastic event will be the highlight of your
           summer- all for a good cause! Half of the fee for these events will support
                      Felix Neck Wildlife Sanctuary’s climate education,
                conservation, and advocacy programs on Martha’s Vineyard.

  Bliss						$3,500-$5,000 2 hours
  Enjoy hand-crafted cocktails infused with local wild herbs and pure, organic CBD
  tinctures paired with a deliciously colorful array of plant-based small bites. Chef and
  holistic nutritionist Ky Keenan will share the health benefits of CBD and why these
  mixtures can infuse a feeling of euphoria and relaxation and introduce you to the
  curious world of medicinal herbs and plants.

  Savory Soiree with Medicinal Mushrooms                      $6,000 3 hours
  Eat your way through the miraculous kingdom of mushrooms. These delights will be
  partnered with apoptogenic cocktails. Enjoy Chef Ky Keenan’s signature Shroom
  offerings that infuses unique mushrooms like cordyceps and reishi see blended
  with wild edible herbs. Chef Ky Keenan believes these special fungi provide
  benefits to your energy, brain, hormones, and immune system. You can experience
  how incredible mushrooms can make us feel!

  Paella Party 					$10,000 4 hours
  Ky spent years living in Barcelona where she discovered her love of cooking and the
  craft of using herbs and spices to produce deep, rich flavorful meals. Your Paella
  party is designed to start in the late afternoon and languish into the
  evening. To begin, graze boards of plant-based plant-based cheeses, and
  garnishes, olives, and bread, and then enjoy tastes of artisanal Tapas paired with
  fresh Island-inspired sangria. For the main meal, our team will build your colorful,
  delicious Paella over an open flame - guests are welcome to participate!

Quaran-team Nature Adventures
                            for Kids
Monday, July 13th - Friday, October 9th
9:30am - 3:00pm
$450/day members per group; $500/day nonmembers per group
Day-long Programs for ages entering K-8th grade
offered Monday, We dnesday, and Friday (Tues, Thurs for rain days)
Open to 2-5 kids from the same Quaran-team
(A quaranteam is a bubble of people who create their own tight-knit
social circle that doesn’t interact with others outside their group.)

Explore forest, field, marsh, pond, and seashore habitats at our
350-acre wildlife sanctuary. This program will encourage kids to
actively investigate and observe their surroundings, make their
own discoveries, appreciate nature, and most of all have fun! Our
program incorporates outdoor games, nature activities, hikes,
stories, crafts, and more!

         Volunteer Opportunities
GARDEN VOLUNTEER WORK DAY
Thursdays, July 9 - September 25 | 1 - 3 pm
FREE
Help our garden grow! Work alongside our knowledgeable garden
volunteers and learn about which plants provide food for Island
butterflies and birds. Come for the knowledge but stay for the
experience and fun! Bring your own tools and register in advance
to secure your spot, limited to 5 participants.
