ADMISSION & SCHOLARSHIP OFFER VOCABULARY YOU SHOULD KNOW
Accept your offer by June 1st Term is the timeframe during which courses
• Once an official admission decision has been made, are offered. Not all courses are offered each term.

• Scholarship offers will be emailed to eligible Winter Term: January to April
students after admission decisions are made.
Summer Term: May to August*
• Follow the steps in your offer letter to accept.
* Course length and start dates vary.
Note: Students who receive an offer after June 1
will be assigned an alternate deadline date. Credit hours are values assigned to courses. Students
must complete a certain number of credit hours to
graduate from a degree program. Typical courses are
valued at 3 credit hours (1 term) or 6 credit hours (2 terms).

Courses are identified by Course Number
BEFORE YOU REGISTER FOR CLASSES!
and Department Code. Introductory level courses
are indicated by course numbers in the 1000s;
e.g., ENGL 1200 is an introductory English course.
Most second level (2000) courses require completion
of the introductory level (1000) course.
W & M requirements are the written and math
compulsory courses required by all students to complete
a degree program.

to manage your course registration
and to view a detailed schedule of your
classes, your tuition fee assessment,
a textbook list and more!
REGISTER EARLY TO ENSURE
THE MOST OPTIMAL SCHEDULE
IS AVAILABLE TO YOU.
Once you have selected courses and created your
timetable, you are ready to register!
Visit Aurora on or after July 6 to view your Registration Time
(your personalized registration access time).
Log in to Aurora during your specific access time, which
will be sometime between July 11-17, and follow the steps
you learned in the tutorials to register for courses. You will
register for both your fall and winter courses
at this time.
