Notice to Exhibitors
Vehicle Lights must be left on while loading and unloading.
With the exception of Handicapped and official club business, motorized scooters will not be allowed.
All persons and animals on the event grounds at any time while the events are in progress, do by attending these
events or participating therein, grant to the clubs, or in persons to whom assignments of such rights have been made
in writing by authorized officers of the clubs, the right to photograph, televise, audiotape or otherwise use their likeness
and voice in any manner without further release or consent.
The Kennel Clubs are not responsible for the actions or products of the commercial vendors at these events.
Warning: Due to incidences that have occurred at other shows, we highly recommend that you do not leave dogs
unattended in cars, exercise pens or motor homes; and we suggest that you secure your crates for the safety of your
dogs. No retractable/flexible leads allowed near the show rings.
No saving of parking spaces without site control approval.
The welfare of an exhibitors child is assumed to be the responsibility of the exhibitor. It is distinctly understood that
exhibitors will exercise control and restraint over their children on each day of the events. Parents must be responsible
for their children. Children must be kept under supervision at all times.
For your child's safety baby strollers with children aboard are not allowed around the rings.
The Celebrate Virginia Cluster reserves the right to remove any animal in distress
from a parked vehicle or crate, and all persons attending these dog events hereby
waive any claim for damages against the clubs for such removal.
Site will be available for RVs at 12:00 Noon on Tuesday.
Parking fee $5.00 per car per day. $20.00 for all five days.
Doors locked from 8:00 P.M. to 7:00 A.M.
Crate identification labels and contact numbers are required.
Ample trash cans will be available in the show area. Please help us keep the show grounds clean. Exhibitors &
handlers will be responsible for clean conditions in and around their crates & vehicles.
No space for unentered dogs. No overnight crated dogs. spectators WILL BE ALLOWED.
no private x-pens inside. no indoor grooming. show and go only. Limited space will be
available for show and go grooming. No electric. Setup must be removed after showing.
Cooling pools will be provided.
Bathing stations will be available.
Absolutely no shavings in private x-pens outside or on grounds without site control
approval.
No gasoline or diesel generators are permitted inside any building or within 100 feet of any tent on this show site.
The Clubs and their Superintendent caution all persons entering the show site and show grounds against all hazards
which may exist, including, but not limited to: Condition of the site/grounds, parking/loading/unloading areas, entrances,
floors and stairways, elevators and escalators, floor coverings, walkways, tenting/canopies, electrical appliances, cords
and fittings, exercise pens, and the presence of animals. All persons should take into consideration this is a sporting
event and dress, act and exercise caution appropriate for the activity involved. All persons entering the show, the
grounds, site and show areas for whatever purpose do so entirely at their own risk. By virtue of entering the show,
the entrant has indicated their acceptance of the terms listed in this premium list and assumes all risks involved.
You must have your dog's current Rabies Certificate available. You may be asked to show it.
“Exhibitors should follow their veterinarian's recommendation to assure their dogs are free of
internal and external parasites, any communicable diseases, and have appropriate vaccinations.”

RV & Reserved Prime Parking
Overnight reservations are available on a first come, first served basis.
RVs may arrive on the grounds to park after 12:00 Noon Tuesday, August 24,
2021. The fee is $60.00 per night per space. Priority is given to reservations for five
nights - Tuesday through Saturday. RV parking will be in assigned spaces and only
one vehicle permitted per space. A tow unit with a trailer is considered one vehicle.
All units must be self-contained. No waste or gray water may be discharged onto
the grounds. Confirmation will only be sent if a stamped self-addressed envelope
is included with the reservation request. This confirmation will include a reference
number which will help parking personnel direct you to your RV space quickly. Please
include a “self-addressed stamped envelope” for confirmation of reservation. If you
wish to park next to a particular party, the reservation applications must be received
in the same envelope. No cones or other means of saving space will be allowed
unless directed by Site Control personnel. Overnight parking is a privilege extended
by the Meadows Event Park and the Celebrate Virginia Cluster Clubs. No abusive or
argumentative language will be permitted. Failure to follow the rules or direction of the
Officials on duty will cause the immediate forfeiture of all parking privileges without
refund of fees paid. Parking is strictly at the exhibitor’s own risk. The Celebrate Virginia
Cluster Clubs are not responsible for loss by fire, theft, damage or loss of personal
property or injury to the animal exhibits. Generators will be silent from 11:00 P.M. until
5:00 A.M. There is no Handicapped parking for Recreational Vehicles.

AKC Sanctioned
4 & Under 6 Months Puppy Competition
Entry Fee: $20.00 per puppy
One combined class will be offered for breeds and varieties of dogs that are (4) four months & under (6) six
months and divided into Groups as described in Chapter 3, Section 1 of the Rules Applying to Dog Shows
and the Miscellaneous Class breeds as listed in Chapter 3, Section 23. There will be a selection of Best 4
& Under 6 Months Puppy in each Breed/Variety, each Best 4 & Under 6 Months Puppy in Breed/Variety
winner will then compete in their respective group for First through Fourth Placements. The Miscellaneous Class
Competition will be judged same as above followed by a Miscellaneous 4 & Under 6 Months Puppy Group
Competition. The Foundation Stock Service Class Competition will be judged same as above followed by a
FSS 4 & Under 6 Months Puppy Group Competition. All First Place Group Winners will be eligible to compete
in Best 4 & Under 6 Months Puppy in Show.
An AKC registration number or AKC litter number will be required for entries of an AKC recognized breed or
Miscellaneous breed. FSS number or FSS registered litter number will be required for FSS entries.
A foreign born dog may enter this class if they are registered in the country of origin.
Dogs are required to be vaccinated (including rabies) in accordance with their veterinarian's protocol in order
to avoid inadvertent transmission of illness by/to puppies not yet fully immunized.
Dogs that are owned or co-owned by a professional handler may compete in this class, but must be handled by
a non-professional handler. Professional handlers are defined as any person who belongs or has belonged to a
professional handlers' organization, distributed rate cards, or otherwise advertised or represented themselves as
handling dogs for pay within the last five years. Dogs may not be exhibited by current assistants and household
members of a professional handler. A current assistant is defined as anyone employed by a professional
handler on a full-time basis, or, assisting a professional handler at the show or any show during the cluster/
weekend. Minors (under 18) with amateur status who reside with professional handlers and current assistants
to professional handlers that are eligible to compete in Junior Showmanship (meet age and amateur status
requirements) may personally exhibit dogs in the Four and under Six Months Puppy Competition.
AKC Rules in Dealing with Misconduct will be applicable to any person and dog entered at this competition.
All applicable rules found in Rules Applying to Dog Shows will govern the conduct of this competition unless
these regulations state otherwise.
Exhibitors should plan on opening the mouth of their puppy for the judges. Breed standard disqualifications
such as color, height, weight or dentition shall not be a point of consideration in the judging process for this 4
& Under 6 Months Puppy in Show Competition.

Celebrate Virginia Cluster - August 25 - 29, 2021 - 9AKC National Owner-Handled Series

The AKC National Owner-Handled Series is a non-titling competition for dogs that are exhibited
by their owners that are not professional handlers.
Exhibitors must declare their dog is Owner-Handled eligible at the time of entry on the entry form.
Dogs entered in the Amateur-Owner-Handler class will automatically be marked as eligible to
compete in the NOHS. Eligible dogs will be identified by an asterisk in the judge’s book, steward’s
book & the catalog. Dogs must be handled throughout the breed level competition for the
regular show by an eligible owner. Professional handlers*, household members and current
assistants** to professional handlers may not exhibit the dog in any NOHS competition
during the entire show.
Owner-Handled Best of Breed will be selected from the dogs that are eligible to compete in the Best
of Breed competition including Winners Dog, Winners Bitch and winners of the non-regular classes.
• If the Best of Breed/Variety winner is Owner-Handled competition eligible, it will automatically
be Owner-Handled Best of Breed/Variety and be eligible to compete in both the regular as well
as the Owner-Handled group.
• If the Best of Breed/Variety winner is not eligible for Owner-Handled competition and the Best
of Opposite Sex to Best of Breed/Variety is eligible, the Best of Opposite Sex to Best of Breed/
Variety will compete against the eligible exhibits of the other sex to determine Owner-Handled
Best of Breed/Variety.
• If neither the Best of Breed nor the Best of Opposite Sex to Best of Breed/Variety are Owner-
Handled competition eligible and Select Dog & Select Bitch are both eligible, the judge is to
choose Best Owner-Handled exhibit from the Selects and eligible Winners Dog or Winners Bitch.
• If one of the Selects is eligible, excuse all Champions and non-regular class winners of the same
sex and then choose Best Owner-Handled exhibit from the remaining dogs of the opposite sex
including the eligible Winners.
• If Best of Breed, Best of Opposite Sex to Best of Breed, Select Dog & Select Bitch are not
eligible, the judge may choose any eligible dog remaining in the ring including Winners Dog or
Winners Bitch as Owner-Handled Best of Breed/Variety.
• If the Best of Winners is eligible, the other Winner is ineligible since it was defeated.
• No class dogs other than the Winners Dog & Winners Bitch are eligible to return to the ring.
The breed will not be represented in the Owner-Handled Group if there is no eligible dog competing
in the Best of Breed or in Best of Winners competition.
*Professional handlers are defined as any person who belongs or has belonged to a professional
handlers’ organization, distributed rate cards, or otherwise advertised or represented themselves
as handling dogs for pay within the last five years.
**A current assistant is defined as anyone employed by a professional handler on a full-time
basis, or assisting a professional handler at the show or any time during the cluster/weekend.
Current assistants that are eligible to compete in Junior Showmanship (meet age & amateur status
requirements) may participate in NOHS.

and Bitches who are AKC Champions and/or Title Holders are eligible to enter the non-competitive Parade of
Champions and Titleholders. Each entrant will receive a Rosette imprinted with the dog’s name in gold leaf
along with their titles held. Parade of Champions and Titleholders will be presented after breed judging. Indicate
Parade of Champions & Titleholders” on the regular entry form under “Additional Classes.” Entry Fee: $16.00.
Non-Regular Classes Involving Multiple Dog Entries
FOR STANDARD SCHNAUZERS (FRIDAY, SATURDAY & SUNDAY)
NR2.09100. Stud Dog Class - Will be for Stud Dogs and two of their Get. Stud Dogs must be entered in the Stud
Dog Class and must be shown in the ring with their GET. Owner of Stud Dog need not necessarily be the owner
of GET. Stud Dog only to be judged based on the merits of the Get. Get MUST be entered in the Regular Classes.
While the merits of the Stud Dog are not to be considered in the placement of the entry, the Stud Dog must be
examined to determine if it has a condition that would require its disqualification or excusal under the Dog Show
Rules., AKC policy or the standard for its breed.
NR2.09200. Brood Bitch Class - Same for Stud Dog except substitute Brood Bitch for Stud Dog and Produce for
GET. As the judge’s decision in the Stud Dog and Brood Bitch Classes will be based on the merits of more than
one dog or bitch, no one of the dogs or bitches making up the entry judged first in the class will be eligible for Best
of Breed by virtue of having won these classes.
