of business you own, in order to get found online it’s essential that your business information isn’t
limited to only your website and social networks – it should appear on trusted directory listings too.
Online directories often have free and paid options. Spending money for a directory listing should fit in
your marketing strategy and budget. It is vital that you measure and track results to ensure you are getting
a return on the money spent. You can easily see each month what proportion of your traffic is coming via
these directories and Google through your Google Analytics.
With hundreds of directories on the web, it’s important to recognise that not all online listings are created

1. Google My Business
Creating your Google My Business account may take a little
time, but it’s an ESSENTIAL ingredient in local SEO and boosting

Yellow Pages and White Pages are the online versions of the phone
