Online portal: Career support for postdocs
The Service Center Research has set up a new online portal to help postdocs find
their way through the maze of third-party funding. The focus is on questions like:
How do I write a good grant application? When do I submit which application for
third-party funding? Should I still aim for a junior research group leadership or alre-
ady a tenure-track professorship? Experienced research advisors are available by e-
mail and in person. The German-English website is intended for Humboldtians as
well as for international scientists who would like to do research at the HU. The por-
tal goes online today.

New subway station: Science on the platform edge

669 terms, 258 pictorial elements, four mader hair brushes, 750 ml of the best ink, at
least 21.6 meters of the finest Italian paper and several intensive discussions with
scientists were necessary for the design of the six hidden object pictures, which are
the core of the exhibition of the Humboldt-Universität in the new station of the U5
"Unter den Linden". The theme is the influence of mankind on nature in the geologi-
cal age of the Anthropocene - verbally and graphically. The pictures of the Berlin
graphic artist Nele Brönner visualize impressively the dramatic interactions. On De-
cember 4, the BVG will start operating in the new station, and the exhibition can be
visited.

in view of the current infection incidence, especially among young people. In the
campaign, scientists* address the myths surrounding Corona. For example, physicist
and biologist Dirk Brockmann dealt with the claim: "Contact restriction is super-

The introduction of the SAP S/4HANA system on January 4, 2021 will also affect
commercial property management and space management. In future, all occupancy
