AUDITIONS
The award-winning Elite Performance Company at The PACT is a select group of students who are
selected to train & represent The PACT Theatre Company and The City of Mobile at various events
throughout the year including Junior Theatre Festival!
The Junior Performance Company at The PACT is a select group of students who are selected to
train & represent The PACT Theatre Company and The City of Mobile at various events throughout
the year!
Audition Requirements: (video auditions will be the only audition method this year)
- Auditions must include the following:
- An intro that includes the following;
- Name
- Age
- School
- Grade in School (Fall 2021)
- Why you would like to be part of The PACT’s Company!
- Two musical theatre songs (one Golden Age song & one Pop/Rock song)
- 32 bars each
- must sing with a track or piano
- One 60 second dance cut
- Please use pre-choreographed dance number, this can be found in your audition file.
- One Monologue
- Please choose a monologue from the audition file
This video will need to be one cohesive video and uploaded to youtube or vimeo and a link must be
sent to auditions@thepactmobile.com. If you set the video to private, please make sure it is viewable
with the link you send. You may also upload the video to DROPBOX via the link on our website under
“Auditions”
The email including the link must also include the audition form below as a PDF. You may also drop off
the audition form at the office before July 8 or fill out the online version of the form. If you drop off
your audition form, please put the student's name and age in the body of the email!

AUDITION PHASES & DUE DATES:
Phase 1: Video Audition
Due Date: July 8, 2021 by 11:59pm

Phase 2: Invitation Only Callback
Date: July 17, 2021; 10am-12pm
If you are out of town, we will handle each case on an individual basis. Invites will be sent via email by
July 11, 2021
Phase 3: Performance Company Bootcamp
Date: August 2-7, 2021 at The Steeple on St. Francis from 4:00pm-8:00pm
This will be our final step in creating our two Company teams.
Phase 4: Official Invitation to join The PACT Company
Date: No later than August 8, 2021
This will be sent via email
Phase 5: First Meeting & Contracts Signed
Date: August 16 at 4pm (Jr. Co) & August 17 at 6pm (Elite Co)
This meeting is required for the student and a parent to attend.

Company Information
- The Company is a year long (August-June) commitment for those in 3rd-12th Grade
- Rehearsals and events begin in August 2021
- Travel Dates
- TBA (these will be available by end of July/beginning of August)
- JTF Atlanta will be held over MLK weekend
- Performance Dates: TBA
- Company will be split in half to form two groups (Elite Company & Junior Company)
Company Requirements
- All rehearsals are required
- Not miss more than 8 rehearsals
- All absences must be sent in no latter than 48 before a rehearsal, all absences must be approved
by Artistic Director via Administrative Assistant
- Any more than that will require a meeting with the Artistic Director and may result in dismissal from
company
- Please note that it is the actors responsibility to learn any material missed if absent from rehearsal
- Rehearsals for 2021-2022 will take place on weekday afternoons/evenings, Saturday mornings and
extra rehearsals may be added closer to travel dates
- JUNIOR CO: MONDAY from 3:45pm-5:30pm
- SENIOR CO: TUESDAY from 6:30pm-8:30pm.
- All conflicts MUST be submitted 48 hours BEFORE a rehearsal
- Attend every audition The PACT hosts in person, no videos
- This is to practice the audition process
- To miss auditions, you must get approval from Artistic Director
- Company Contracts must be signed by the parent and student

Rehearsal Uniform (black shirt, shorts/leggings/joggers, jazz shoes)
Black Jazz Shoes (you must purchase)
Black Jazz Pants (you must purchase)
Performance T-shirt (provided)
Company Raglan Shirt (Provided)
Company Team Jacket/Sweatshirt (provided)
A PACT T-SHIRT (you must buy - any color)
Payment Information
All payments will be posted on DanceStudio-PRO (DSP) by the 1st of each month — payments must be
made by the 5th of each month. Late payments will incur a late fee.

Payments can be made online on DSP, by check, cash or card in the office.
Scholarship Information
A limited number of scholarship are available, by application only. Please email
development@thepactmobile.com for an application and for more information on the scholarship
process. Scholarships are rewarded by the board of directors.
Company Tuition & Fees
Elite Performance Company
(Attends JTF Texas in Houston OR JTF in Atlanta)
- The PACT Yearly Registration Fee
- $25 per year per child (not included in fee)
- Lasts from June 2021-May 2022
- Monthly Fees (Paid to The PACT)
- Yearly Price: $1,600-$1,900 (waiting on clarification for JTF on hotels/travel)
- Split into 10 payments over 10 Months (August-May)
- Final payment plan will be available by Mid-July before a final decision will required for Company
- Fees Cover
- JTF Fees
- Hotel for JTF
- 4 nights
- Roundtrip transportation by deluxe motor coach to JTF
- You may choose to drive your own car.
- This does not change the price of chaperoning if you do not ride the bus
- Monthly tuition for instruction
- Team Shirts
- Company Shirts & Performance Shirt
- Snacks for long rehearsals
- Room occupancy MUST be confirmed by DATE TBA.
- Prices are based of 4 person occupancy, less than 4 people per room will result in extra fees
- Fees above do not cover

- Meals & Activities during travels
- Extra travel that may be needed

Junior Performance Company
(Attends a Performing Arts Festival - location TBA)

There will be fundraising opportunities beginning in the summer to help with costs of the trip.New Member Fee (Elite Performance Company Only) Your New Member Fee covers the cost of your team jacket and team backpack. New Member Fee: $100
