MISSION STATEMENT
“We create community pride through people, parks, and programs.”
The Peru Parks, Recreation, and Special Events Department operated alongside the Peru Recreation Board to offer, recreation,
programs, and events for the benefit of all Peru citizens. Peru Parks include Washington Park, Sunset Park, McKinley Park, Rotary
Park, Centennial Park, American Nickeloid Park, Veteran’s Park, 28th Street, & Baker Lake. Splash Field is located in Washington Park
and Wiggly Field is located at Veterans Park.

For 2021 we will be utilizing online signups for our programs summer camps. Below is a week-by-
week outline of camps being offered this summer. A sign-up link is provided where applicable.
Many camps are free to Peru residents! If there is a fee it will be listed in the description.
Nonresidents are invited and welcome, with an additional low cost of only $10 (exception- Saddle
Up Camp). Payment is due the first day of the camp, if applicable.
*** Please only sign up one participant per slot and try to sign up early, to help the instructors better prepare. If
