The recent technological developments are transforming the education system as
a whole. Students from KG to PG have completed their one-year education
through online mode only. The scenario of the education pattern is totally
changing. This is the time the higher education, particularly the technical
education, has to emerge in a different shape.
MIT Art, Design and Technology University, to be in tune with these
transformations, has taken adequate steps at the appropriate time. To stimulate
the innovative use of technology for better teaching and learning, first of all, the
university conducted number of trainings for the faculty members on how to
conduct effective online teaching.
All the faculty members prepared themselves for interactive online teaching,
conducting virtual labs, video recording of practicals, uploading books on the
ERP, conducting proctored online examinations and so on and so forth. Hence, the
students staying at their homes during the pandemic situation, attended the
classes, watched the recorded practicals, got books for study, appeared for
examinations and got results too.Thus, teaching with technology transforms the
entire learning experience.
Not only technological developments but considering the declining trends toward conventional engineering courses,
the university reinvented engineering education, changing style of pedagogy and shifted its focus to innovation-led
education. Design thinking is embedded in engineering education and technology in design education to make the
School of Engineering ‘Design enabled’ and the Institute of Design ‘Technology enabled’.
The MIT Art, Design and Technology University, Pune has received a 5-Star rating to its Institution’s Innovation Council
for exemplary performance from Innovation Council, Ministry of Education, Govt of India for Academic Year 2019-20
and the University is also ranked 26th (in the first 50 universities) for ARIIA 2020 by Ministry of Education, Govt. of
India in August 2020.
To foster the Culture of Innovation and to equip students with new-age knowledge and techniques, to scale and
deliver breakthrough solutions to the real world problems, the University has created ‘the Centre for Research and
Innovation for Young Aspirants’ (CRIYA).
To promote Entrepreneurship and Innovation, the University has Atal Incubation Centre (AIC). It is one of the first
Institution Centres supported by Atal Innovation Mission, NITI Aayog, Govt. of India at any private university
across Maharashtra. AIC will incubate potential founders and support them by building a 'Learning Culture'.
Projects of the students selected by CRIYA will be incubated in AIC- MIT ADT Incubator Forum.
Apart from technological development of the students, the University aims at holistic development of students,
for which the School of Holistic Development was established in the year 2018 at the University. The curriculum
of the same is inspired by the Indic approach of Panch Kosh. It covers various courses to make the students
winning personalities. University has made it compulsory for students to undergo the Holistic Development
Courses to get the Degree of MIT Art, Design and Technology University, Pune.
Although we are one of the young universities, we are spreading our wings to be among the top well-known old
universities and fly higher and higher to reach our goals and contribute to the nation’s development.

Today, though, the rapid pace of change is transforming the global
business landscape more and more, rendering traditional leadership skills
obsolete and challenging executives to equip themselves with new

sector due to its immense potential for value addition, particularly within
the food processing industry. Furthermore, India is expected to become
the third largest construction market globally by 2022. The whole premise
of establishing the MIT College of Management (MITCOM) was to position itself as the most
preferred and premium institution in the Field of Management education. Because of globalization
every business organization is asking for the Global Leaders to face the global challenges. Rapid
space in technology development has created ample opportunities for the techno managers who
will accept the technology revolution in social media, data science and Technology Management.
Since the time of inception, MITCOM has come a long way and carved a niche for itself as a provid-

ducing another sector for the port and shipping management which will enhance the skills of the
budding managers to face the challenge of demanding port and shipping management fields.

Construction Management, Technology Management, Applied data science, Product leadership

At MITCOM we focussed more on providing a carrier path to our students rather than giving them a job.
MITCOM placement department organized many carrier oriented programs such as Industry Academia
Interaction Sessions, National HR/Finance/Marketing Meets, which helps students to improve their interper-
sonal skills and it develops leadership qualities and decision-making ability among the students.
At MITCOM, companies from various sectors like BFSI, FMCG, Manufacturing, retail, Agri Business, and ITES
participates in yearly campus recruitment drive and Summer Internship Program.
At MITCOM, in the current year 74.51% students are placed in companies like TCS, Reliance, Tech Mahindra,
Viraj, Deutsche Bank, HDFC, Govind Milk, and many more. This year our students has 6.00 CTC, which is the
highest one, and our median CTC is 3.6 LPA.
Summer Internship program helps students to implement and practice their theory knowledge in the real
time scenario. Companies like ABRL, HDFC, HiField Ag Ltd, Govind Milk, Sahyadri farms, Syngenta and many
more participate in SIP.
At MITCOM, we provide an opportunity to our students where 10 days live project is arranged where
students are deployed in companies to explore and unleash the knowledge and skills. We also signed up
MoU’s with many organizations such as Bajaj Alliance, H&R Block, Saj enterprises, BMC software. Pride
Global Tech Services Private Limited, BVMW, Green Water Revolution Pvt. Ltd, AIESEC. The motto behind it
is to connect industries with academia where corporate stalwarts conduct training sessions, which help
