                                   in an application.

• Problem solving done so?
• Business awareness
Predicted Grades

• Professional judgment of your teachers is the final
  decision

• Your teachers will be optimistic but this year’s
grades (end of year exam) and class work are
  critical

• ‘Inflating’ grades:
   • Makes universities no longer trust our predictions
   • Is unnecessary as many courses do not need
       predictions matching their standard offer
   • Might even result in higher offers
How to choose a University…

• You make your choices until you submit,
you can add in more later…

• Research: what will you have to do to get
  there?

• Many factors: league tables (not the be all
and end all!), distance from home, course
  content, style of teaching, bursaries…
Research

• Research details from the long list
• Narrow down to 5-8 choices
