REOPENING OF THE BELAS CLUBE DE CAMPO GOLF COURSE
To ensure the safety, for both golfers and employees, we have defined a set of procedures and recommendations, based on the
resolutions of the Government and the Department of Health. These are exceptional measures that require everyone's compliance
and understanding.
There will be 3 phases in this process.
Phase one: From 4th un�l 10th May, inclusive, access to the golf course will be exclusively for the members of Belas Clube de Campo.
Phase two: From 11th un�l 17th May, inclusive, access to the golf course will be exclusively for the members of Belas Clube de Campo and their
guests.
11th May – The driving range reopens.
Phase three: From May 18th onwards, access to the golf course will be for the members of Belas Clube de Campo, their guests and the general
public.

Un�l otherwise informed the opening and closing �mes will be as follows:

REOPENING PLAN AND REGULATIONS
1. INTRODUCTION
All players must meet the following requirements:
Have not been out of the country within the last 14 days.
Have not been in contact with someone infected with the Covid-19 virus within the last 14 days.
Do not have any of the symptoms of Covid-19 as defined by the Department of Health.
Restrict their �me on the premises to what is strictly necessary.
Wear a mask when within the clubhouse and its facili�es. Each person is responsible for bringing their own mask (their mandatory
use is according to the Department of Healths instructions).
Be informed of all the measures as indicated by the Department of Health and other official bodies.
Players under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult player when playing or when within the clubhouse and its facili�es
The player must make themselves aware of the rules and regula�ons of Belas Clube de Campo and scrupulously comply with them.
NOTE: To help us protect all players and staff members please inform the management as soon as possible if you are diagnosed
with Covid-19 a�er playing the course or visi�ng the clubhouse.

2. RESERVATIONS
Access to the golf course is restricted to those players who have pre-booked their star�ng �me by phone or email.
Where applicable, proof of payment should be made at the �me of the reserva�on.
A booking is only considered confirmed upon receipt of an email from the golf recep�on.
Members of Belas Clube de Campo can book up to 5 days prior to the day of play. Other players can book up to 3 days prior to the
day of play.
Bookings should be made by 17:00 on the previous day. A�er this �me, it may not be possible to guarantee a reply on the same
day.
At the �me of booking it will be necessary to provide the names of all players, their phone numbers and emails. Na�onal players
who are not members of Belas Clube de Campo will also be required to provide their Portuguese Federa�on of Golf membership
number.
Star�ng �mes will not be accepted in person.
We do not guarantee star�ng �mes if the player arrives late for their game.
Slots are every 10 minutes, to a maximum of 4 players in each group. Reserva�ons will not be taken for the slots 10 minutes before
each hour.

3. ARRIVING AT THE GOLF COURSE
Arrive at the course either alone or accompanied by a family member who shares the same residence.
Plan to arrive at the course no more than 20 minutes before the star�ng �me.
Park the car at a reasonable distance away from the other cars.
The locker rooms are closed. The player should arrive at the course duly a�red and ready to play.
Players are responsible for transporting their own golf equipment and if necessary, the placing of their golf bag and other golf
equipment either in the buggy or on a trolley, as well as transpor�ng it to their car at the end of the game.
The player should wear the personal protec�ve equipment as recommended by the Department of Health.
Players should avoid entering the golf recep�on, buggy garage or any other area of the clubhouse.
Players should, at all �mes, maintain the 2 meters of mandatory social distancing.
There will be no restaurant/bar service, so you should bring your own water/snacks.
4. CHECK-IN PROTOCOL AND GOLF RECEPTION
To limit the access to the golf recep�on, the check-in will be made directly with the starter at the 1st tee.
Only 1 person is allowed at any �me in the golf recep�on.
We ask you to respect the delimita�ons signs. These are there in order to maintain the 2 meters of mandatory social distancing
from the counter and from one another.
Golf merchandise will be available from the golf shop. It will be delivered personally by one of the staff members. Please avoid
touching any of the items on display in the golf shop.
Payments should be made by credit/debit card or MBway. Payment by cash is not recommended.
Scorecards and pencils are available at the entrance to the golf recep�on.
Golf clubs and trolleys are not available for rental.

5. BUGGIES
Buggies will be regularly cleaned and disinfected and are to be used under the following condi�ons:
a. 1 player: 1 buggy with 1 golf bag.
b. 2 players: 1 buggy with 2 golf bags. 1 player is designated to drive the buggy carrying 2 bags, the second player will
accompany by foot.
c. 3 players: 2 buggies with 3 golf bags. 2 players are designated to drive the buggies, 1 buggy carrying 2 bags with the other
carrying 1 bag. 1 of the players to accompany by foot.
d. 4 players: 2 buggies with 4 golf bags. 2 players are designated to drive the buggies each carrying 2 bags and the other 2
players will accompany by foot.
e. 2 persons from the same family and from the same household, may share a buggy.
f. There is a maximum of 2 buggies per group of players.
g. The player assigned to drive the buggy must be the only player to drive the buggy during the game.
6. CLUBHOUSE
Access to the golf recep�on is through the outside door.
The locker rooms, restaurant and bag storage room are closed.
Access to the toilet on the first floor is through the door located on the outdoor walkway.
The toilet, as well as the other clubhouse facili�es, will be subject to regularly cleaned and disinfected.
The cleaning of bags/clubs, shoes, etc., is not permi�ed at the facili�es in the proximity of the clubhouse.

7. STARTING TIMES
Play will only be allowed to start from the 1st tee.
All players must be ready on the 1st tee, 5 minutes before their star�ng �me.
The star�ng �me will be controlled by a staff member to ensure that the 10-minute interval is respected.
8. GOLF COURSE
Players must comply with the starters or marshalls instruc�ons, as well as the courses pace of play.
Players must always maintain the 2 meters of mandatory social distancing rule from their partner, especially on the tees and greens.
A player may be instructed to leave the course when found to be non-compliant.
Players should refrain from gree�ng each other with any type of physical contact.
Players should can only advance to the next tee when all the players of the group in front have le� the tee.
Players should not go back to replay a lost or unplayable ball, nor if the ball is in a hazard.
The golf course´s WC’s will be open and will be frequently cleaned and disinfected.
Rubbish bins and ball washers are off-limits.
The flag s�cks are not to be removed and should not be touched.
The rakes have been removed from the bunkers. A�er playing from the bunker, players must smooth over the sand with their club
or shoes.
In order to maintain the pace of play, players upon reaching the green on the par 3´s should mark and pick up their golf balls and
indicate to the players behind to play their tee shots.
Players should not exchange golf equipment, drink nor food.
Players should not pick up other players' golf balls nor equipment.
The player should not exchange scorecards with their partner.
All EDS cards should be scanned and sent via email to the golf secretary.

9. AT THE END OF THE GAME
Players must wash and disinfect their hands.
Players must leave the clubhouse area as soon as possible and make their way directly to their cars.
10. DRIVING RANGE
Social distancing restric�ons are duly indicated.
All flags and rakes have been removed from the prac�ce areas.
Only 3 players are allowed at the same �me on the prac�ce pu�ng green and the short game area.
The driving range ball machine will only be “�cket or card only”.
Baskets will be properly cleaned and disinfected a�er their use. They should be le� at the driving range for collec�on.
The management reserves the right to limit each players prac�ce �me.
11. GOLF ACADEMY
During the first phase, there will be a limit of 2 students per class.
The teacher and the pupil should always maintain the 2 meters of mandatory social distancing and wear a surgical mask or similar
protec�ve equipment.
All golf equipment required for lessons will be properly disinfected.
All lessons will be scheduled with a minimum interval of 15 minutes between each lesson in order to clean any previously used golf
equipment.

12. GOLF DEPARTMENT STAFF
All employees will be provided with appropriate personal protec�ve equipment.
Staff are informed to the importance of both personal hygiene and that of their workplace.
Disinfectant will be available at the golf recep�on.
Employees will maintain the 2 meters of mandatory social distancing from customers.
A protec�ve glass has been installed at the golf recep�on.
All customer and workplace areas will be regularly infected
FINAL NOTES
Failure to comply with the above-men�oned containment rules could result in the player being requested to discon�nue play. This could result in
the player being prohibited from playing at the golf course whilst the containment rules are in place.
These rules are subject to change in line with changes to the Department of Health’s recommenda�ons or at the ini�a�ve of the management of
Belas Clube de Campo.
