1. to participate in the first lucky draw, you are required to have completed your registration form
to attend the SALLRs’ 36th annual seminar and you must have paid this seminar registration
fee in full by no later than 26 April 2020
2. thereafter you are required to like the SALLR Facebook page (www.facebook.com/labourlawreports) and
tag a colleague whom you would like to also attend, on the competition post found on the top of the
SALLR Facebook page timeline
3. if you qualify for the first lucky draw, you, firstly, participate in the draw for the venue where you have
registered for the SALLR seminar and, secondly, you also participate in the national draw
4. you therefore participate in both such lucky draws taking place on 30 April 2020 in Port Elizabeth, and may
therefore qualify for prizes in respect of both the venue where you have registered as well as nationally
5. winners will be notified on the SALLR Facebook page

1. if you qualify for the first lucky draw on 30 April 2020, you automatically also qualify for the second
lucky draw to take place on the various dates and venues of the SALLR seminar in August and
September 2020 and also in respect of the national draw on 3 September 2020 at the Birchwood
Hotel, Johannesburg
2. if you have not qualified for the first lucky draw and wish to participate in the second lucky draw, you
are required to have registered for the SALLRs’ 36th annual seminar and have paid such seminar fee in
full by no later than 8 August 2020 – furthermore, you are also required to attend the SALLR seminar
at the venue so selected by you
3. thereafter you are required to like the SALLR Facebook page (www.facebook.com/labourlawreports) and

WHO IS THE PRESENTER?
Dr Brian van Zyl is the co-author of various publications, which
include the following: The Final Codes on Broad-Based Black
Economic Empowerment: An Analysis, Part 1 and Part 2, The
Business of Restructuring and Guide to the CCMA Rules, 1st and
2nd editions. Brian has been the presenter of The South African
Labour Law Reports seminar since 1990. He has recently written
Changes to Employment Laws.
During 2018 his CCMA Rules Including Rules of Various Courts
became a best seller. In 2019 he launched the 4th edition of the
above publication dealing with the 2019 CCMA Rules.
Brian also regularly practices in the labour courts and the CCMA.
