Scholarship Opportunities
Scholarship opportunities are available for all high school students. They are listed by due date. New ones are
highlighted in blue. Submit a request for a transcript from Dr. Langshaw at least five days prior to the due date.

Florida Agricultual History and creativity award: Scholarship is a $1,000 award based on an essay that must be submitted by:
February 26. Contest rules and forms can be found at: fdacs.gov/essay/diversity. This is open students in grades 4-12
Unigo Sweet and Simple Scholarship-$1,500. Students ages 13 and older at time of application who are legal U. S. residents and will
enroll no later than fall of 2027 in accredited institution of higher learning are eligible. Must submit online response in 2 50 words or less to "Not

International Test And Evaluation Association Emerald Coast Chapter Scholarship Committee: A minimum of a $500 scholarship to
be awarded. ECC Education/Scholarship Program is to assist and encourage outstanding and deserving Okaloosa, Santa Rosa, and
Walton County, Florida, graduating high school seniors to complete their college education in scientific and engineering fields related to

Hurlburt Spouses' Club: 2 different scholarships for graduating 2021 seniors: High School Merit Scholarship Requirements: Class of

The Emerald Coast Public Relations Foundation provides scholarships to worthy high school students who intend to pursue a higher
education field of study in public relations, communication, marketing or journalism.
AMOUNT: $1,000 CRITERIA: High School senior residing in Okaloosa, Walton or Santa Rosa counties, a U.S. Citizen, planning a
college or university major course of study in public relations, communication, marketing or journalism.
REQUIREMENTS: COMPLETED APPLICATION: Available in high school guidance offices or online at www.ecpro.org
GPA: 3.5 or higher, ESSAY REQUIREMENT: An original typed, double-spaced 200-300 word essay addressing an ethics issue in
public relations or journalism, SERVICE ACTIVITY: A listing of community service or leadership activities not to exceed one page.

Destin Water Users, Inc. (Must be a resident of the area serviced by Destin Water users). $1,500 scholarship for Freshman year and
up to $2,000 for sophomore year. Award is based on academic achievement, leadership, personal character and economic need. This
scholarship is for graduating seniors and can be used at an accredited junior college or college and cannot be used in conjunction with a
full scholarship. To get applications, see your guidance counselor or come to the media center. Deadline is March 15, 2021

Better Business Bureau of NWF: $1,000 Student ethics scholarship for vocational, trade school or any accredited college or university

FASFEPA (Vivian Scott, $1,500 Scholarship) Student applicants must meet the following criteria to be eligible for the scholarship:
Must be a senior who is on track to graduate in May/June of 2021, eligible under current USDA guidelines as free or reduced-priced
meals or Approved CEP Direct Certification for free or reduced lunch, provide a publishable picture with the application to be used in an

SONS AND DAUGHTERS OF ITALY: This scholarship is open to all seniors, not just of Italian heritage. Scholarship deadline is
Wednesday, March 31st. Additional scholarship award for high school students that have a family member in active standing in the

Michelle W. Hill Foundation Academic Achievement Community Service Scholarship. $1,000 scholarship awarded to graduating

HURLBURT FIELD CHIEF’S GROUP 2021 SCHOLARSHIP: One or more $500.00 scholarship(s) to the sons and daughters of active

The American Business Women’s Association (ABWA) of the Emerald Coast Chapter will award a $2,000 scholarship
to a local female high school student to be used towards any accredited U.S. college or university that offers a baccalaureate degree.
The applicant must have a 3.0 GPA or higher and reside in Okaloosa, Santa Rosa, or Walton County, Florida . Application deadline is:

   Southern Scholarship Foundation-Rent-free housing; renewable. Seniors who plan to attend Flagler-Tallahassee, UF, FSU, FAMU, FGCU,
   TCC, or SFC are eligible. Must have a 3.0 GPA and demonstrate outstanding character, high motivation, and financial need. Scholarship
   recipients live cooperatively and are responsible for $300 of the Food & Service Bill on move in day. Must complete application online, writ
   essay, and provide acceptance letter from university/college, transcript, photograph, letters of recommendation, honors and activities list,

   Student View Scholarship: $13,000 worth of scholarships to high school seniors who plan to attend a four-year college,

   Niceville Republic Women Federated: This scholarship is for registered or pre-registered, female Republican voters. The
   scholarship award is $750 and the application deadline is April 16. If you have any questions

   the media center.
   Kiwanis Club Scholarship: $8,000 Scholarship ($2,000/yr). This scholarship cannot be combined with a full scholarship.
   Applicants must be a resident of Okaloosa county and going to an accredited 4 year college or university and must be
   working toward a science, technology, engineering or math degree. Applications can be found here in the media center or

   The 30A Company Communication Scholarship Program: Applicants must be seniors graduating in the spring of 2021,
   reside in Okaloosa, Walton or Bay counties and plan to major in communication or a media related program. Scholarship
   award is $2,000/year and the deadline to apply is April 15, 2001. Go to 30A company for the application and for any

  American College Foundation Visionary Scholarship Program-Multiple winners ranging from $1,000 to $5,000. High school students who are
  U. S. citizens or eligible non-citizens may apply. Must register, complete application, write 500 word essay, and provide transcript. For more

  Pureland Supply Vocational and Skilled Trade Scholarship-$500. Seniors who have been accepted to an accredited trade school, vocational
  college, technical school or community college for the study of trade, craft, or labor occupations are eligible. Must complete application, write

  Unigo Fifth Month Scholarship-$1,500. Students ages 13 and older at time of application who will enroll no later than the fall of 2027 in an
  accredited post-secondary institution of higher learning are eligible. Must register and submit online response in 250 words or less to "May is the
  fifth month of the year. Write a letter to the number five explaining why five is important. Be serious or be funny. Either way, here's high five to

  Hugh F. Bridges Scholarship: $1,000 award for students pursuing continuing education in a 2 year vocational, college or 4 year
  college or university. The award is named in honor of Past Master Hugh F. Bridges, who is a founding and charter member of

 recommendation, transcripts, and ACT/SAT test scores; completed at least 40 hours of community service; and write 1000-1500 word essay
 that describes favorite community project, involvement in project, and how project enhanced and/or added value to college education. For

 Walmart Associate Scholarship-Amounts vary. To be eligible must: be U. S. citizen or permanent legal resident; be employed with any
 division of Walmart for at least six consecutive months prior to application; high school senior or have earned high school diploma or GED
 before applying; and have financial need. Must register, take eligibility quiz, and complete application. For more information and

 Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation Career and Technical Education Scholarships-To be eligible must be a child of: Active Duty or Reserve
 U. S. Marine; Active Duty or Reserve U. S. Navy Corpsman who is serving, or has served with a U. S. Marine unit; Veteran U. S. Navy
 Corpsman who has served with a U. S. Marine unit and has received an honorable discharge or was killed while serving in the U. S. Navy;
 Veteran U. S. Marine who has received an honorable discharge or was killed while serving in the U. S. Marine Corps. Also, must be
 planning to attend a non-degree certificate program or vocational training that is 12 months or less at a community college or private
 career school listed on College Navigator, have a 2.0 GPA and a maximum family adjusted gross income (2017) not exceeding $98,000.

FIRST Scholarships-Over $14 million in scholarships from over 128 colleges, universities, corporations, and associations. Most scholarships are
merit-based and renewable. High school students who are on FRC and FTC teams are eligible. (Most scholarships are for seniors.) Som
