April 15, 2020 – October 15, 2020

Dear Seasonal Guests,

Our number one goal is that you have an enjoyable time camping at The Forest RV Park and
create many lifetime memories. Please respect your neighbors, they don’t want to hear your
radio, please respect our park, we work very hard to make it as beautiful as it is; and lastly,
please respect yourself, no all-day partying to where we have to have an unfortunate discussion
about your behavior. Please be respectful.

Our philosophy is that the kids own the road, and it’s the adult’s responsibility to watch out for
the children. Therefore we have a posted speed limit of 5 mph - we will scold any drive that
appears not to be paying attention to this - we see dust you are not trying hard enough.

Please talk to us. If something is not to your liking, or if you notice something that we’ve
missed, please let us know immediately! We’d like to have the opportunity to fix the issue and
make things right so that you may enjoy your stay. We understand that we are in a new culture
of leaving reviews on social media. These reviews are much appreciated, but please allow us to
address any issues immediately before you post. Our staff works very hard and is here to offer
you a fun place to enjoy your family…please allow them the opportunity to assist you!

Seasonal Campsite Guidelines

Campsites:
We highly recommend you turn off the electric and water in between stays. We will not
be held responsible for any damage caused by electrical or water outages. Please instruct your
children not to tamper with electrical and water connections. Please keep all vehicles and
personal items confined to your site.
All lots are 30’ wide x 40’ deep. There is roughly a 10’wide gravel pad with grass on both
sides. Full hookups are located on the driver’s side of the pad. There is approximately 30’ of
green space behind the back of each camper.

Firewood:
Burn rings are allowed but not provided. We allow you to bring your seasoned split
firewood. Anything else is unacceptable. And please, do not throw glass or aluminum cans in
the fire, contrary to what you think, these do not burn, and they leave a mess that must be
cleaned.

Pets:
There is a limit of two free pets per campsite. Any 3rd or additional pets are $50 each
per pet. If you have 3 dogs, you would need to buy 1 additional pet season passes to bring the
other dog. Pets must be kept on a leash or chain at all times. We reserve the right to evict any
dog or pet that we feel exhibits menacing or aggressive behavior. Owners must clean up after
their pets. Leash lengths must confine the pet to your site. The health Dept prohibits pets in all
pool/playground areas and all public buildings.

Pool:
The heated pool is open daily between Memorial Day Weekend and Labor Day. Weather
permitting it will also be open weekends in May and September. All pool users must wear their
wristband and have proper swim attire. Access to the pool is included for those listed on a
seasonal or guest campsite reservation. All children under the age of 13 must be accompanied
by an adult (21 or over) when swimming. Pool hours are 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. Smoking, glass,
bottles, and pets are prohibited in the pool area. There is NO lifeguard. Swimming is at your
own risk. Be respectful of others. Profanity will not be tolerated. No lounge chair reservations.

Parking:
Every site will receive 2 car decals to be displayed in the passenger’s side rear window. If
you cannot fit your camper, deck, gazebo, and a second car; free parking is available between
the mountain and E. Harbor Road. Overnight guest cars require a decal. DO NOT block the
street in case of emergency vehicles.

allow any visitors to enter the park without your consent. Guests must visit office first.

Improvements/Changes To Your Site:
Improvements include: adding/removing plants or bushes, decking, sheds, gazebos, one
outside refrigerator (maximum of 5 cubic feet), fireplace, or any other additions.
You are welcome to have one plastic Rubbermaid shed, but it may not exceed 50 square
feet.
One screened gazebo is permitted on your site. The size must not exceed 10’ x 12’ and a
maximum of 120 square feet.
Decking, as well as any other built structure, needs advanced approval and must meet
local building codes. Please submit a campsite improvement form. Building specifications for
decks can be found on page 7.

Green Space:
We love trees and bushes! In an effort to keep our campground beautiful, please
maintain the grass on your site. We maintain the green space behind your campers.

Camp Store/Office:
Store hours may vary before and after peak season. We offer a wide variety of
convenience items and Forest RV Park merchandise. The phone number is 419-967-0418 if you

The public restroom, shower building and laundry room are maintained regularly by the
