Dear Sponsor,
          On behalf of the Angaston Football Club I would like to thank all of our 2021 sponsors, and
hopefully welcome them and all new ones in the 2022 season. It has been an amazing last 3 years for the
Angaston Football Club with the highlights being a rise into the finals by our senior teams, good results in
juniors including final’s appearances and our female teams continue to make us the most successful club in
that competition. Off the field we have had the menace of Covid-19 to deal with like everyone else, but on
the positive side we have begun extensions to our clubrooms, expansion of our playing facilities and
construction of a second oval aimed primarily at junior development. This is a massive project for the club
and on completion will be of benefit not just to the Angaston Football Club, but the whole district. The
facility will allow us to hold events that in the past would have been beyond our capabilities. This has
occurred through hard work by members of the club, our other fund-raising activities and the support of
you, our sponsors. We have also had support from other Angaston organisations plus the Barossa Council
and the Office of Sport and Recreation. The real work starts when we take over the facilities with
maximizing its uses and operations.
          At the same time, we still have to maintain our core function which is playing the game of
Australian Rules Football maximizing success for our players and supporters. The importance of clubs like
ours today with the benefits they bring to the community especially to the youth cannot be understated.
Sport and the opportunity to participate underpins the Australian lifestyle. We are retaining our senior
coaching panel of Jay Shannon and Beau Byster and are in the process of confirming coaches for the other
10 teams. We have been blessed by a willing group of volunteers, trainers and other support staff. Your
support enables us to continue and hopefully increase our successes. The Club’s history has been enriched
by some significant personal achievements this season with former junior Shannon Hurn adding to his
already long list of achievements by becoming the first player to play 300 games for the West Coast Eagles
in the AFL. In the local competition Angaston’s Matt Doecke played his 500th game of senior football setting
a record unlikely to ever be broken. Our Under 13s Female Coach and secretary of the female Committee
Matt Bradley has won A SANFL award recognizing his work for Primary School age football. The club also
became a Gold Medal Good Sports Club for our work in implementing Health and Safety policies for our
players and members.
          With the hopeful easing of the Covid-19 restrictions and our new facilities combined with the good
position the club is in across-the-board 2022 promises to be a continuation of the progress of the Angaston
Football Club. Your support as sponsors is big part in the club being able to continue our momentum as a
successful and inclusive club.

      The Angaston Football Club have never offered the community the
  opportunity to sponsor our female football teams. Whilst we see that we are
    one club and are all inclusive we would also like to present the option of
                   sponsoring the female football teams only.

Because this is such a new and unique opportunity for the Angaston Football Club
we are not putting together dedicated packages but are welcoming any potential
  sponsor to talk to our sponsorship team and we can put together a package
                    in consultation with you and your business.
