                          Steel Beam Theater:
                        Nestled in the heart of downtown St. Charles,
                        Steel Beam Theater is an award winning
                        theater dedicated to fostering the arts in the
                        Fox Valley area and supporting talent of all
                        ages. Come see The Real Inspector Hound, a
                        witty spoof of Agatha-Christie style
                        melodramas. Friday April 12th, Saturday April

                 Fox River Distilling Co:
                Indulge a little and spend an afternoon touring Fox
                River Distilling Company and sampling the amazing
                spirits they create, including their award winning gin.
                The distillery is open for tours Friday from 12 to 6 PM

Penrose Brewery and Taproom:
A local favorite and worth a trip. Stop by
the taproom, sample the rotating selection
of beers, and tour the brewery. Food not
served on the premise so feel free to bring
some local take-out to accompany your

The River Trail:
Before or after your run, explore over 38 miles of trail along the scenic
Fox River. Walk, run, or bike for a fun filled day outdoors.
Bikes are available to rent through Mill Race Cyclery. For more

Kayak Rentals:
Spend a relaxing afternoon
paddling down the Fox River.

You can’t visit Chicago and not give two of our most famous staples a
try. For your convenient fix of Chicago Style Pizza and Hotdogs, we
recommend Giordano’s Pizza and Portillo’s. Two Chicagoland favorites
that are sure to please everyone right here in St. Charles!

City of Chicago:
You’re only a 45 minute drive, or a short train ride from Geneva’s Metra
Station to one of the largest and most vibrant cities in the United
States! While you’re here, consider taking some time to see Chicago
and some of its best known attractions.
You can search the full Metra Rail schedule here. We recommend the
10:37 AM, 12:37 PM, or 2:37 PM trains, departing from the Geneva
Station. Round trip fare is $16.50 or $10 on Saturday and Sunday.

Soldier Field and The Chicago Bears:
                   Even when The Chicago Bears are not in season,
                   Soldier Field hosts major concerts, cultural events,
                   art exhibits, and more.
                   Or, learn the history behind one of the NFL’s oldest
                   stadiums with one of their daily tour packages. For

The Lakefront Trail:
Feel the need to stretch your legs and get a little fresh air? Chicago’s
Lakefront Trail is 18 miles of scenic, paved pathways for walkers,
runners, bikers, you name it. Consider renting a bike for the day from a
Divvy Station, joining up with a Segway tour, or relaxing on one of the
many beaches along the trail for a great day outdoors.

Come see one of the most beloved Chicago teams at the iconic Wrigley
