Pee Wee Baseball
This program helps 4-year-olds get ready for sports by using a step-by-step approach that builds confidence and
self-esteem, while making it fun! A parent and/or guardian (over the age of 18) must be present at each session.

T-Ball league meets twice per week and is for first-year players. Rookie is a coach-pitch league. The Rookie

Soccer
The Recreational Soccer League exists to provide youth the opportunity to participate in a fun, organized and
safe environment. Emphasis is placed on the enjoyment of playing soccer while learning basic skills of the game.
Spring soccer season runs March - May. All leagues are co-ed and meet two to three times per week. Field size
and team size may change depending on the number of participants in each league.

Junior Team Tennis
Junior Team Tennis, a more competitive tennis league
for middle school and high school students, will again
host tryouts for the Spring league. Please check back
at www.bullochrec.com/tennis for tryout date/time.
Junior Team tennis hosts Sunday afternoon practices
and Saturday matches at various tennis complexes in
the area. Lots of great practice if you plan on being on
your school’s tennis team!
Local Track Meet
BCRP offers a free local track meet for boys and girls
ages 7 to 14. Age divisions are determined by child’s
age on December 31, 2022. Pre-register at the Honey Bowen Building by February 25. Forms are online at www.
bullochrec.com/track. No registrations will be taken the day of the event! The event will be held at Statesboro

Explore Archery
Explore Archery is a versatile education activity program tailored for youth and families that are interested in
being introduced to the sport or looking for an activity that includes everyone. Equipment Included. Adults are

Camp Adventure Days
The Statesboro Bulloch County Parks and Recreation Department offers full
day activities (7:50 a.m. - 6 p.m.) for children who are out of school for holi-
days and in-service days and are already in the BCRP AfterSchool Program.
Location: usually held in one of our Statesboro Schools and our Brooklet
Community Bldg). Location information will be available on registration
info. The upcoming full days include the following dates:

Join us for the 39th annual ArtsFest! We will have a wide variety of activities for all ages. Many art stops will be
available for you to create your own art, an Artist Market where you can purchase art, and live performances on
stage throughout the day! If you are interested in being a Food Vendor, an Artist Market Vendor, or providing

Summer Day Camps
Summer Camp begins June 1st and will run weekly through July 30. Cost is $125
per week with a deposit of $25 per week required at registration. The camp is
available for children who have completed grades Pre-K through 5th grade as of
May 2022. More information regarding Covid-19 regulations, maximum num-
ber of attendees, themes and locations will be available soon online.

Adult Athletics
Our programs are never just for kids! We offer several team sports for adults throughout the year. Teams are
formed by managers who sign them up at the Manager’s Meeting at the Honey Bowen Building (1 Max Lockwood
Drive, Statesboro) on the dates listed below. Fees will be discussed at the Manager’s Meeting(s) listed below.
Soccer Manager’s Meeting: Monday, February 7th at 6:00pm

Men’s Open, Church & Industrial Softball: Monday, February 7th at 6:00pm
All games are played at Mill Creek Regional Park.
Responsibilities of a Team Manager: Being a manager is an important job! As the manager, you are responsible for
all team business, including required paperwork, communication between the department and the team, league/
player fees, team conduct, and adhering to BCRP safety and social distancing guidelines. You will be notified of
league meetings, game schedules, forfeits and other team/league business. It is also the Team Manager’s respon-
sibility to know all the rules of the program and to inform all of the players of the rules concerning eligibility and
conduct.
League Fees: Must be paid in full before the team is placed on the schedule. League fees may be paid by cash or
credit card at the Honey Bowen Building between the hours of 8:00am - 5:00 pm Mondays through Fridays.
Free Agents: Individuals who do not have an already-formed team but would like to play can contact Dadrian
Cosby at (912) 489-9052 or dcosby@bullochrec.com to have their name placed on a “free agents” list in the event
a team needs a player. Manager’s may request a Free Agent list from the BCRP supervisor at any time.

Are you looking for some Friday Night Fun with friends? Beginning
January 21, Nerf Night arrives on selected Fridays at Splash in the
Boro for Ages 7-12 and 13-18. Come play variations of Nerf Games
like Capture the Flag, TEAMS, Attack and Defend and more! All par-
ticipants must bring their own Nerf gun and register ONLINE before-
hand! Nerf bullets will be provided to all participants on site. Waiver
is required before participation.

Oreo Club is a creative culinary cooking class for kids using Oreos. While
we make delicious Oreo recipes, your child will also learn about kitchen
safety, kitchen equipment, the importance of following a recipe, the purpose
and function of each ingredient within a recipe. Oreo Club will meet once
a month on Tuesdays from 5:30-7pm at the Honey Bowen Building and the

Rider must be at least 5 years old as of September 1, 2021. Held at Mill Creek Equestrian Center located at 407 Bruce Groover Road, Statesboro. Interested in horseback riding? Whether you want to ride English or Western get started with the basics of good riding skills. You can gain so much from riding lessons such as; patience, compassion for another being, responsibility, sportsmanship, and pure enjoyment with the outdoors. Make sure to wear something comfortable, preferably pants or jeans and closed toe shoes (boots or tennis shoes). Winter & Spring Break Fun Swim at Splash in the Boro
For all ages! Only $3 per person or FREE with current waterpark Season Pass. Join us for a splashin’ good time! We
will have activities all week long! Diving boards open Monday - Thursday! Don’t forget the pools are heated!

Free Swim Lessons from 9am-10amBulloch County is rich in agriculture in so many
ways! The Bulloch County Agricultural Complex
wants to help educate citizens on those ways by
hosting a two-day Ag-Grow Expo that will have
many educational booths, many equipment
booths, and more! On Saturday, the Expo will
also host a community stage and a children’s
livestock show!
Friday, April 1 10 am until 7 pm
Saturday, April 2 10 am until 5 pm
