PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY Hikers and mountain climbers are responsible
for their own actions! The lift operators are not liable for accidents in the mountains.
In the event of rain, snow or a storm even the easiest tour can become dangerous.
REFUNDS FOR SKI PASSES/HIKING TICKETS Lost or mislaid ski passes/
hiking tickets are not replaced. The lift operator’s terms and conditions of carriage
do not provide for any reimbursement or extension of ski passes/hiking tickets
where lift services cannot operate as a result of weather conditions caused by force
majeure (storms or risk of avalanches).
INFORMATION FOR HIKERS The lift facilities operated by the Stubai cableways, in
particular the Stubai Glacier cableways, are located in the high-Alpine region. Outside of the
station facilities themselves, the risks associated with high-Alpine conditions must be ex-
pected. The hiking trails in the Stubai cableways area are not part of the facilities operated
and offered by the cableway organisation. The map of the hiking trails shown here is not
sufficient for the safe planning of a hike. Before setting out on a hike it is essential to check
NEW on the level of difficulty of the terrain, its demands on hikers and the characteristics of the
trail. The hiking trails are not maintained by the Stubai cableways. The Stubai cableways
companies assume no liability of any kind for accidents sustained on the hiking trails and in
Alpine territory outside of the station facilities.
In difficult weather conditions (snow, storm, fog etc.) such hiking trails become considera-
bly more demanding and even impassable! Those wishing to go on a hike are advised to
consult mountain guide services.
INFORMATION FOR PARAGLIDERS We ask that pilots flying for the first time

register at the office of the “Papillon Alpen-Paragliding-Center Stubai” flight school
