Hello, I am Faye; an independent specialist in
housing standards, HHSRS, property inspections and
accreditation in the private rented sector.
I have over 13 years’ experience working within
housing standards and accreditation; 11 of which
were at Unipol Student Homes, where I developed
and managed the student housing accreditation
scheme- the Unipol Code. During my time at Unipol, I
carried out property compliance inspections, helped
landlords and agents to bring their properties up to
the required standards, worked in close partnership with local authorities and
other stakeholders and provided training for landlords and agents.
I set up my own consultancy in 2018 and have enjoyed developing my business
and skillset since then, including acting as a consultant to DASH for the last 2
years, during which time I have carried out HHSRS inspections and reviewed
and rewritten their Landlord Code of Conduct. I also successfully completed a
Fire Risk Assessment training course in October 2020
