RE: EXTENSION OF THE TENDER VALIDITY PERIOD: PROVISITION OF SECURITY SERVICES TO
LIMPOPO DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION.
1. Reference is made to the above-mentioned bid which closed on the 18 August 2020.
2. You are hereby notified that Limpopo Department of Education is still busy with the evaluation and
adjudication processes of the bid: LDE/B02/2020/21(Bid for provision of Security services to
Limpopo Department of Education). It is for this reason that the Department has extended the validity
period to 30thJanuary 2020.
3. It is against the above background, that all bidders who submitted their bids for the above-services are
hereby requested to indicate if they accept or do not accept this extension.
4. Responses should be submitted by e-mail to mashilomp@edu.limpopo.gov.za on or before the 15th
December 2020. Should your response not be received by the 15th December 2020 it will be taken that
there is no objection to the extension of the validity period for your respective bid.

6.4 DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORT AND COMMUNITY SAFETY
6.4.1 CANCELLATION OF NOTICES
The former Limpopo Department of Transport invited service providers and suppliers to register
as panelists to be utilized in cases of emergencies. The advert was published on Provincial
Tender Bulletin number 22 of 2019/20 FY, dated 06 September 2019 and the database. An
addendum notice was published as per Provincial Tender Bulletin number 27 of 2019/20 FY
dated 11 October 2019. The database could not be finalized as the Department was later
merged with former Department of Community Safety. Both notices are hereby cancelled.
6.4.2 DATABASE FOR TRAINING SERVICES
Interested service providers are hereby invited to register on the departmental suppliers’
database for the training services
The registration forms are available for download at the Departmental website
(www.ldot.gov.za) and on E-Tender portal. The database is for utilization in the financial year
