4Social Butterfly of the Month
Ikea Rivers, a sixth grade student at SPMS, has been selected as
Social Butterfly of the Month.
Her favorite subjects are art, music, science, and culinary arts.
She enjoys drawing and playing soccer. In addition to her mother
and sisters, her heroes are Anna Blue and the singer, Damien Dawn.
She plays the violin and the best book she has ever read is Dork
Diaries. Ikea would like to become a marine biologist when she
grows up. When asked what the world needs more of, she said that
we all need to be safe.
Congrats to our 2018 Mothers of the Year!

6Fathers have a special role
In each young child’s life,
To mould and shape them to become
A follower of Christ
To show them the Father’s heart
And help them understand
How God’s love can be their guide
As they take Him by the hand.
