No entry fee is required to enter this class. Entries must be the work of the
exhibitor and done within the last calendar year. Posters are to promote
the Milverton Family Fun Fair. The winner of the poster competition will be
announced at the 2020 Milverton Family Fun Fair. The poster may be en-
tered at the District 8 Competition, then the OAAS convention in February
2021 where a grand prize will be awarded to the convention winner.

Prizes: 1st - $4.00, 2nd - $3.00, 3rd - $2.00

Section B - Grade 5 to Grade 8:
No entry fee is required to enter this class. Entries must be the work of the
exhibitor and done within the last calendar year. Posters are to promote
the Milverton Family Fun Fair. The winner of the poster competition will be

Rules are as follows:
Child must be 5 - 8 years old in 2020. Child will be expected to bring a
“Show and Tell” item to the competition and answer questions (in show
and tell format) on that item. Each contestant should obtain a $25 sponsor
for the event. Contestants unable to locate a sponsor should speak to the
committee for assistance. The competition will be limited to 8 contestants
combined for the two classes.

Rules for the Ambassador of the Fair Competition are as follows:
Competitors must be between the ages of 17 and 23 (must turn 18 on or before

                                                                                  Arrangements may have purchased flowers in them; however, the
                                                                                  exhibitor must have made the arrangement themselves.
All plants entered should be in good condition, with damaged or old leaves
and old blooms removed. Flowering plants should be in bloom for judging.
                                                                                  21. “Fallen log; Growing succulents”: a grouping of succulents inside a log
All plants and flowers should be grown by and belong to the exhibitor.

                                                                   plastic bag with the exhibitor’s name and address using the entry tag provided. Prize money

If any entry wins Grand Champion or Best of Show of all eligible Hand-Quilted Quilts at more than one Fair, the other Fairs at
which this quilt was entered and won, should enter their Reserve Champion or Second Best of Show of eligible Hand Quilts in
the District Competition.
NOTE: If an Exhibitor wins Grand Champion or Best of Show of all eligible Hand-Quilted Quilt classes at more than one Fair,
the Exhibitor must consider their own Agricultural Society as the one from which the quilt will be sent to the District meeting,
otherwise it should be sent from the Agricultural Society nearest his/her home address.
2. An Exhibitor who wins more than one Best of Show title with a different Hand-Quilted Quilt at different Fairs shall be entitled
to enter each winning quilt to compete at the District Competition.
3. If an Exhibitor is exhibiting in more than 1 District, they are entitled to enter different winning quilts at different District
Competitions but cannot enter the same quilt at more than one District Competition
4. Local Homecraft Divisions are requested to judge a Grand Champion or Best of Show of all eligible hand quilts. As well as
Reserve Grand Champion or SECOND Best of Show of all eligible Hand-Quilted Quilts.
