SUMMER is well and truly upon us with
hot days and very little rain to
date. Let’s hope that all changes very soon, not just for us but
all those suffering the terrible drought throughout Australia.
It’s amazing to think that just a few days ago there was snow
falling in the Alpine regions of NSW and Victoria.
Our dedicated Travel Team at Stonestreets are really looking
forward to another great year of touring in 2020.
They have created some fabulous tours to many exciting new
destinations. You can find out more about these tours and
some of the tours in this edition of Travel Club News.
Our tours to the outback stations and regions really help those
who are struggling with the drought. Every little bit helps and
hopefully the extreme weather and drought conditions will
change soon.
We wish each of you a Merry Christmas and a Safe Happy New

The sale of Stonestreets Coaches to Premier Queensland has been completed and the
transition of separating the two businesses,
Stonestreets Coaches and Stonestreets
Travel is well underway. In the sale, Premier
Queensland purchased the school bus and
charter bus services as well as the land and
buildings adjoining our original block - where
our Reception office is located.
Stonestreets Travel and the Travel Team have
been retained by Phil and Bev who have
committed to its future and will continue to
operate Stonestreets Travel as normal from
our office at 78 Warwick Street as it has done
so for the past 25 years. So It’s full steam
ahead!

LORD HOWE ISLAND

Jacqui Prendergast has been an important member of Stonestreets Travel family for many
years and has kept herself busy producing popular Day Tours for our Travel Club Members.

When Jacqui is not out and about she works tirelessly in Reception answering phones and

We asked Jacqui to tell us a little about herself and she wrote: “Be careful of what you wish
for. I have always wished for my 3 children to have their children close together so they could
all grow up with their cousins, like I did as a kid. Next year I will have 3 grand babies and two
weddings in 12 months!!! I could not be happier.”
