ITINERARY
DAY 01: SAN ANTONIO – MEXICO CITY
Includes Dinner.
Meeting at the San Antonio International Airport.
Departure to the airport of Mexico City.
Check-in at the Maria Isabel Sheraton Hotel for three nights.
Visit: Museo Casa de Diego Rivera where you can see most of the
works and the studio where they worked.
Coyoacan. Walk through Coyoacan at any time of the day and you
will find countless historical places. Museums, squares,
monuments, etc.
DAY 02: BASILICA OF GUADALUPE
It includes breakfast.
Visit: Museum of Anthropology: It is the largest and most visited
museum in Mexico, contains significant archaeological and
anthropological artifacts of the Mexican pre-Columbian heritage, as
well as the Piedra del Sol (or the stone of the Aztec Calendar) and the
Aztec statue Xochipilli.
Fine arts. The Palace of Fine Arts is a cultural venue located in the
Historic Center of Mexico City, considered the most important in the
manifestation of the arts in Mexico and one of the most renowned
opera houses in the world.
Tour on Reforma Avenue with a view to the monument of the
Revolution.
Time to go shopping.
Basilica of Guadalupe. Special Mass celebrated by the Priest.DAY 03: TEOTIHUACAN (MAGIC VILLAGE OPTIONAL TOUR)
Includes Breakfast and Lunch
Tour with Guide by: the Teotihuacán Pyramids. Located 50
kilometers northwest of present-day Mexico City, Teotihuacán was
one of the largest urban centers in the ancient world. Nobody
knows who built it. Designated to the UNESCO World Heritage in
1987. It is the most visited archaeological site in Mexico.
Visit to the Zocalo and the Cathedral. Free afternoon for shopping.
DAY 04: GUANAJUATO – SAN MIGUEL DE ALLENDE
Includes breakfast and dinner.
Guided tour of Guanajuato.
This cordial city, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, and the
route of the mines, which runs through its municipalities, and its
finger-licking cuisine make it an excellent destination that combines
Mexican traditions.
Visit: El Cubilete Hill on its summit is the monumental Christ of the
Mountain. The Cathedral of Guanajuato outside the hours of Mass to
be able to have an exploration of the deepest major temple.
Check-in at the Hotel Real de Minas for two nights.
Time to go shopping and explore on your own.
DAY 05: SAN MIGUEL DE ALLENDE
Includes Breakfast and Dinner.
Guided local tour. San Miguel is one of the most beautiful cities in
Mexico and in 2008 declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. It is
attractive and cosmopolitan in appearance, making it one of the most
attractive destinations for lovers of the arts.DAY06: CHOLULA “MAGIC VILLAGE” – PUEBLA.
Includes Breakfast and Box Lunch.
Guided tour through Cholula and Puebla.
Be amazed by the splendor of Puebla, its colonial and elegant
buildings, its streets and flavors live up to its nickname "The City of
Angels". Known for its beautiful and fine ceramics, especially for
the style that will be called Talavera.
We will visit: The Archaeological Zone of Cholula, the Sanctuary of
the Virgin of the Remedies, the Parish of San Pedro in Cholula and
the Cathedral of Puebla.
Return to Mexico City. Check-in at María Isabel Sheraton hotel for
two nights.
Free time to go shopping.
DAY 07: TAXCO “MAGIC VILLAGE”
Includes Breakfast and Lunch.
Guided tour of Taxco. It is a small but magical little town located in
an area surrounded by hills and mountains, thanks to the intense
exploitation of its silver deposits. Free afternoon to explore and buy
on your own.
DAY 08: OPTIONAL EXTENSION TO CANCUN OR FLIGHT BACK
TO SAN ANTONIO
Departure to Cancun or San Antonio. Check-in at the Royal Haciendas
