AWAY FROM HOME
We have the pleasure of introducing Cloughjordan House, a wonderfully
restored 800 year old country house country house set in the heart of the
countryside of North Tipperary.
Cloughjordan House is the ideal venue for your special day where you
will enjoy the natural beauty of this French style country manor with
family and friends for a truly memorable event. The romantic 17th
century ballroom leads to our beautifully lined marquee overlooking
the lawns and woodland area which creates a perfectly charming
dining area for up to 180 of your guests.

Our wedding packages include the use of our romantic bridal suite for the duration of
your stay. We offer a variety of accommodation for over 75 of your guests on site. Further
accommodation is available for 65 guests within a short stroll.
Cloughjordan House and coach house have been carefully restored to provide 6 beautiful and
luxurious bedrooms. The old dairy farm yard has been recreated to give your guests 21 rustic
but extremely comfortable ensuite rooms. No two rooms are the same, each one has been
tastefully decorated with a quirky eye.
The glamping area in the walled garden comprises of 5 bell tents and 6 newly arrived wooden
Pods that are fully decked out for a warm and snug stay.

The table settings for your reception dinner include long tables with white table linen
and rose pink napkins. Fresh garden f lowers are placed on the wedding tables as well
as in every guest bedroom. We use the highest quality Riedel wine glasses that allow
you and your guests to savour the aroma and taste of the grape.
At Cloughjordan House we offer old school, personalised hospitality, great f lavoursome
food grown organically in our walled garden and sourced from artisan suppliers, friendly
and professional service and a truly memorable wedding experience.

YOUR WEDDING DAY AT
CLOUGHJORDAN HOUSE
Cloughjordan House is a private venue solely for you and all your guests for
the duration of your wedding celebration. From your arrival at 2pm until the
12pm the following day.
Arrive at Cloughjordan House and let our team and wedding coordinator look
after you. With everything in place for you and your guests to enjoy, simply
relax and enjoy your day.
Included in your wedding day is:
• Use of the bridal suite for the night of your wedding
• A glass of Prosecco or Pimms at the canapé reception for your wedding
guests
• 1/2 bottle of wine per person choosing our organic house wine.
• Delicious, freshly prepared wedding meal - 3 canapés, CJH starter board
to share 3 dishes, grapes and grappa, main course with seasonal vegetables
from our walled garden, a silent vegetarian and fish option, desert with
homemade Boulabawn Farm ice-cream, tea, coffee and petit fours.
• Midnight munchies with local cheese board.

EXTENDING YOUR WEDDING DAY?
Pre Wedding Dinner
Arrive at Cloughjordan House the day before your wedding to settle in with
your family and friends. You are welcomed with afternoon tea in the living
room of the main house. Enjoy a laid back family dinner that evening with
your nearest and dearest in the Asado.
Wake up to a delicious breakfast and be pampered by your team of makeup
artists and hairdressers with your bridal party before your wedding on site at
Cloughjordan House or in the the village of Cloughjordan.
For 2018 we hope to have the addition of two new dressing rooms. These will
be available to the wedding couple so you can both get ready separately for
your wedding ceremony.
*This additional option includes a delicious and relaxed dinner for up to 30 adult guests, the Bridal suite
and 2 extra rooms for the night before your wedding and exclusive use of Cloughjordan House house and
grounds from 3pm the day before your wedding.

POST WEDDING PARTY BBQ
Continue the celebrations in our amazing covered Argentinian style BBQ
room the Asado the day following your wedding day - meat or pig on a spit
cooked over a wood fire. Get the party started with happy hour and tapas
before the BBQ.
Then enjoy fresh salads from our walled garden, meat cooked over the wood
fire, breads cooked in a wood fired oven, a yummy desert and then play games
and dance the night away. Pizzas are delivered later in the night for your guests
to enjoy.
* This additional option includes a BBQ for up to 50 adult guests, the Bridal Suite for the night
of the BBQ and private use of Cloughjordan House and grounds until midday the day after your BBQ.

& HUMANIST CEREMONIES
More and more couples are seeking to avail of Cloughjordan House for
their wedding ceremony. Weather permitting, we are happy to facilitate this
in whatever style you desire. We have a number of areas where your wedding
ceremony can take place such as the ballroom, woodshed, front lawn, under
the stretch tent and in the forest adjacent to the house.
LOCAL CHURCHES
There are three churches within 300 metres of Cloughjordan House that are
available for your Wedding service. St Michael's & St John’s Catholic Church,
St K ieran's Church of Ireland and the Methodist Church.
LOCAL AMENITIES
Cloughjordan House is in a the Village with walking distance for pubs,
shops and cafes.

carefully thought out by our experienced team of chefs to include tasty,
fresh ingredients. Our business was founded on our Cookery School,
so good food using the freshest ingredients is in our nature.
We’re really passionate about our food provenance and quality. We strongly
believe in the use of local artisan produce to make simple, elegant, great
tasting wholesome food. Vegetables from our waled garden from our head
gardner Briain who delivers wonderfully produce to the kitchens daily
Come to Cloughjordan House for a memorable culinary wedding experience
where great tasting quality food is our hallmark.
We have a fantastic team of chefs here so please feel free to ask us about
our menu options.
15SAMPLE MENU
Food is at the core of everything we do here at Cloughjordan House, and has evolved with each passing
year. We annually allocate time to exploring new ingredients and cuisines, both in Ireland and beyond,
to inspire our menus. This year took us as far as London, South Africa, France and Australia. Here in
Cloughjordan, we rear our own free range pigs to make our exceptional sausages, rashers and pork, and
hens for fresh eggs. In the garden the variety of fruit and vegetables change throughout the seasons. The
harvest includes carrots, leeks, broccoli, beans, collared greens, radishes, mixed salads, herbs, raspberries,
strawberries, foraged fruits, apples, plums, horseradish, edible f lowers, onions, garlic, cucumbers,
squashes, courgettes … and regularly, a few surprises to keep us thinking. We hope you’ll find lots
to excite you throughout the menu.

Our whole hog package is for a minimum of 130 and a maximum of 180
guests. Prices start at €115 per adult for your wedding day. Plus the weekend
exclusivity of €11,000.
This package include the pre wedding dinner and post wedding BBQ. Enjoy
exclusive use of Cloughjordan House and grounds for the entire weekend as
you are the only wedding onsite that weekend.

Please note that this brochure is a guide only. Please contact us and we can
personally talk through the various options we can offer for your special day.
Cloughjordan House offer you exclusive rental of the house and grounds
and therefore have minimum and maximum occupancy requirements.
Current bed and breakfast rates for twin/double rooms onsite at Cloughjordan
House are €150 for one night, €250 for two nights and €330 for 3 nights.
The onsite wedding ceremony set up fee for the woodshed, front lawn, under
the stretch tent and the forest is €400 while it is €600 for the ballroom.
All costs and prices found here are example guide only as we prepare a
personalised schedule for each unique wedding requirement. Cloughjordan
House and their associated business of JHS Events Ltd cannot be held to
any fixed prices or offering set out here in this guide nor for any third party
services contracted for an event.
