Webersburg warmly invites you to its elegantly restored Cape Dutch Homestead, boutique
winery and elite event venue nestled against the slopes of the Helderberg Mountain in the
heart of the Stellenbosch Winelands.
We are pleased to present you with information regarding our Estate. We are passionate about
bringing together all of the elements that create an unforgettable experience, making your
wedding day the most memorable day of your life.
Webersburg is the ideal setting for any special occasion. The historic and stylish venues
surrounded by mountains and vineyards captures the true essence of a winelands wedding.
Our various venues are perfect for intimate, formal or lavish affairs.

THE LAWNS
Our rolling lawns are the perfect place to say ‘I do’. Picture perfect mountains, surrounding
vineyards and the dam make Webersburg the ideal setting for a one of a kind ceremony and
the most memorable photographs for your special day.

THE HISTORIC WINE CELLAR – 20 TO 50 GUESTS
Webersburg’s Cape Dutch cellar, built in 1796, resonates with age-old wine making secrets. From the
cobbled floors to the high wooden ceiling, this venue is unique for a truly authentic and intimate winelands
wedding. Our wine cellar also doubles up as a ceremony area with enough place to seat 120 guests.
THE TASTING ROOM AND VERANDA -
CANAPÉS AND PRE-DINNER DRINKS AREA
Our newly renovated Tasting Room and veranda is light and modern with stunning views of the surrounds,
giving a feeling of being outside while being protected from the elements. The Tasting Room and Veranda
seats 80 guests and is the ideal place for canapés and pre-dinner drinks.
WEBERSBURG VENUE AREAS
THE MAIN VENUE - 50 TO 180 GUESTS
Situated next to the dam with majestic mountains as the backdrop, this stunning venue can comfortably seat
180 guests with a dance floor. Beautiful in its simplicity this is the perfect venue to let your imagination and
creativity run wild.
THE MARQUEE AREA – 200 TO 500 GUESTS
Situated to the left of the dam, the Marquee area can easily host larger functions of up to 500 guests. Kindly
note that we do not supply the Marquee. The Marquee area is 30m x 20m. Please inquire about rates.

INCLUDED IN RATES
Use of the lawns or the Historic wine cellar for your ceremony and photographs;
Reception tables for up to 180 guests. Square tables of 1.2m x 1.2m that can make up rectangular tables;
Reception seating for 180 guests. Dark wooden chairs;
The Tasting room and Veranda for pre-drinks;
Standard cutlery and crockery for up to 180 guests;
Webersburg Operations Manager for the duration of the function;
Parking Security Guard for the duration of the function;
Cleaning before and after the function;
Organizing of pre or post wedding functions;
Exclusive use of the venue / estate depending on the package booked;
Full back-up power generator in case of power cut / load shedding;
The Bar facility / Structure;
Glassware for the bar;
Setting up of the ceremony area;
Setting up and laying of the tables: i.e. setting the cutlery, crockery, glassware etc. (Kindly note that we do not set up the
flowers and décor);
Please note that we do not undertake two weddings / events simultaneously.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
ADDITIONAL HOURS: Overtime / Extra hours can be pre-arranged for a surcharge of R5000 per hour until no later than 02:00.
BEVERAGES:
Webersburg handles all bar arrangements and stock. As we are a boutique winery that follows the classic French tradition of low
production per hectare (quality over quantity), we offer a selection of delicious wines and bubbly. We do not allow guests to bring
in any beverages from outside of the Estate.
CATERING:
All catering is provided in house. We have a fantastic chef that creates a unique menu for each individual couple based on the
type of dining experience you would like to have. We are happy to incorporate any ideas or suggestions. We also provide a free
tasting for the bridal couple. Extra guests are welcome to join the bridal couple in the tasting at an additional fee.
SPECIAL DIETARY REQUIREMENTS:
We will be more than happy to accommodate any special dietary requests. Please discuss with the chef prior to your event.
In the event that you require halaal or kosher catering, we allow outside caterers to make use of our facilities for a kitchen hire fee.
CHILDREN: Children are more than welcome, please check with the chef about menu options for the little ones.
WAITING AND BAR STAFF:
Venue hire does not include waiting and bar staff, however Webersburg will obtain staffing quotes and arrange all necessary staff
for your function.
OTHER SERVICES:
As every couple has different ideas of how they envision their wedding day from the different shades of linen to the different shapes
of glassware, we leave the following services in the very capable hands of our tried and trusted services providers. Glassware for
the tables; Decor, flowers and styling; Linen and Napkins; Lighting, sound and DJ; Ceremony chairs and gazebo; Other service
providers.
ACCOMMODATION
Our guest rooms and lounges are spacious and homely. Everything feels personalised and inviting; from
the elegantly restored antique décor to the plush couches and fine linen. Spend lazy summer afternoons
splashing in our sparkling swimming pool or reclining on the rolling lawns or snuggle up in winter in front
of cosy fireplaces with a glass of our flagship red wine. At Webersburg it is easy to experience the gentle
passage of time as the sun rises and sets, casting shadows across the mountains and valley. Romantic,
relaxing and refined - this is a glorious homestead experience.
MANOR HOUSE AND JONKERSHUIS
Dating back to 1786, the Manor House and Jonkershuis lets you experience the finest Cape Dutch
heritage in its most stylish and comfortable expression. There are ten cosy suites to choose from with the
option of either five rooms with en suite bathrooms in the Manor house (which also houses our
Honeymoon suite and a beautiful lounge area for the bride and bridesmaids to get ready in) or five rooms
with en suite bathrooms and kitchenettes in the Jonkershuis.
OWNERS COTTAGE:
Our Owners Cottage is a beautiful private cottage with an open plan kitchen and lounge area, three
lovely rooms all with en suite bathrooms makes this your home away from home. Kindly note that this
cottage is booked out as a single unit.
VINEYARD COTTAGES:
We have eleven newly built cottages which are modern and spacious and set slightly away from the main
part of the Estate. Absolutely tranquil with lake and mountain views, there is a choice between open plan
and self-contained units.

Should you decide to make use of only part or none of the accommodation please note that we will
release the available rooms to the public for general sale. This merely means that there will be other
guests on the Estate at the time of your event but will not interfere in any way with your special day.
HOW TO MAKE A BOOKING
Please make an appointment to view the venue. Ask any and as many questions as you need.
Once your wedding has been booked with us, we can assist you with recommendations of preferred
service providers.
On your big day, we will personally be present to oversee and to ensure an overall enjoyable experience
for you, your family and your guests.
Please request a quote and a contract. A signed and initialled contract plus payment of the non-
refundable venue fee will guarantee your date. Please email proof of payment and the signed and
initialled contract to events@webersburg.co.za.
WEDDING COORDINATION
We welcome any coordinator or event planner to make use of our facilities and will gladly collaborate to
create the couple’s perfect day.
Should you require a wedding coordinator, this service can be arranged at an additional fee. Please
contact our Event Coordinator regarding more information on this service.
HOW TO GET TO WEBERSBURG WINE ESTATE
FROM CAPE TOWN INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT:
Exit the airport and drive towards the sign N2. Turn left to Somerset West on the N2. Drive fifteen
kilometres and exit on R310 or Baden Powell Road, in the direction of Stellenbosch. Drive approximately
eight kilometres along Baden Powell. Turn right into Annandale Road towards the R44. Approach the
intersection. Cross over the R44 and drive about 1 kilometre and turn right into Webersburg Main
Entrance.
FROM N1 OR PAARL:
From Cape Town, exit the N1 by taking a right at the Stellenbosch or R44 turn off. From Paarl you will
take the left turn off onto the R44. Follow the R44 through Stellenbosch in the direction of Somerset
West. Annandale road is situated approximately eight kilometres from Dorp Street or Stellenbosch CBD
and is well sign posted on the R44. Turn left into Annandale Road, the road at the traffic lights in front of
Mooiberge (Strawberry farmstall) Drive approximately 1 kilometre and turn right into Webersburg.
