Thank you for considering R.M.S. Segwun or Wenonah II to be a part of your wedding day!

Both our grand ladies are available for private charter and provide a truly unique and intimate
setting, complete with the Muskoka lakes scenery as an unparalleled backdrop, an event on board is
one your guests will never forget. Imagine walking up the aisle on a stunning steamship in front of
your loved ones with beautiful, ever-changing Muskoka scenery framing the place where you will
say, “I do”!

A wedding ceremony on one of our ships is enhanced by the many custom and unique touches only
we can provide. The RMS Segwun continues to be recognized by Canada Post as a Royal Mail Ship
meaning that your wedding invitations can be mailed directly from our office and will be uniquely
“hand-franked” or cancelled as they did more than hundred years ago. You may even decide to fly a
personalised, custom made flag from the bow of the ship during your cruise.

Your wedding aboard Muskoka Steamships

Our grand ladies can host any style of event you can envision for your big day; from intimate
ceremonies to lively cocktail receptions our team is here to help you plan every step of the way. Our
professional, experienced team on shore and aboard will work closely with you to create an event
that matches your personal style and vision.

Our ships are chartered by the hour which allows you to build your cruise itinerary to your desired
time and length. We do require a minimum 2 hour booking during the day and a minimum 3 hour
booking from 5:00pm and into the evening. We generally recommend 2 hours for an on board
ceremony and 4 hours or longer for ceremony, dinner and dancing. Food and beverage expenses
are subject to your choice of menus and are additional to the charter costs. Both of our ships are
fully licences by AGCO

Royal Mail Ship Segwun

Capacity: 97 passengers

Built in 1887, Segwun is North America's oldest operating coal-fired steamship and the sole
survivor of a fleet of Muskoka lakes steamships. Guests truly step back in time as they board
Segwun and re-live the romance and nostalgia of Muskoka's past.

R.M.S. Segwun can accommodate a large array of event styles, from intimate ceremonies followed
by formal dinner service to a lively cocktail style reception. There are two dining rooms on board,
the Royal Muskoka Salon, which seats 32, and the more intimate Islander Dining Room which seats
18. For larger numbers, we serve meals cocktail or buffet style with guests eating throughout the
ship as they enjoy the unsurpassed view of the Muskoka Lakes.

Wenonah II

Capacity: 216 passengers

Launched in May of 2002, Wenonah II is Canada's newest passenger vessel. Combining all the style
and grace of a 1907 vessel and the modern conveniences, Wenonah II truly offers a luxurious
setting for wedding celebrations. Wenonah was built with entertaining in mind and offers ample
room for live music and dancing on the second deck.

Wenonah II has three dining rooms on board. Her main dining room can accommodate up to 100
guests for plated service, the Cherokee Dining Room can seat 24 guests and is ideal for late night
snacks or a children’s area. The Commodore’s Dining room is located behind the wheelhouse and
with a private washroom and seating for 10 makes a perfect hideout for a bride before the
ceremony or as 200 guests can be accommodated for seated dinner with seating in the bar area and
a buffet style menu.

Charter Rates:

RMS Segwun: $2200 per hour
Wenonah II: $2050 per hour
(Prices do not include applicable taxes)

Your hourly rate includes:

- The entire ship and its crew dedicated to your special day – exclusively yours
- Planning services and assistance from our experienced Sales Manager
- Catering coordination with our official on board caterer, North Catering
- Contact with trusted and experienced Muskoka vendors
- Set up and tear down of on board décor*
- On board staff and crew, including bartender(s)
- Fully stocked bar and options to request specific items
- Full use of all the necessary tables, chairs, linens, napkins, flatware and glassware
- Infused water station before the ceremony and dinner
- Late evening Tea and Coffee station in the Lounge
- Free Anniversary Cruise **

Alternate Ports of Call and Positioning Fee

Muskoka Wharf in Gravenhurst is the home port to the Muskoka Steamships. The Positioning Fee
covers the basic operating costs of the ship, the travel time to alternate departure locations and
Muskoka District fees. It is charged per hour at $700 plus tax in addition to the hourly charter rate
of your cruise. Please contact us for details on departures from your location.

Off-Peak Weddings

There may be times during the season and mid-week where there is flexibility with the hourly
charter rates or positioning fee. Please inquire at the time of booking.
