Thank you for your interest in La Residence as a possible venue for your wedding
celebration.

Located in the beautiful Franschhoek valley, where the exquisite vineyards and
mountains form a picture perfect backdrop, La Residence provides a haven of luxurious
accommodation, fine dining and an all-round sensory indulgence

We can exclusively and privately cater for a maximum of 150 wedding guests and our 11
bedrooms can accommodate a maximum of 22 guests, our 5 Villas can accommodate an
additional 20 guests.

Our Events Co-coordinator will assist in organizing all aspects of your wedding and
reception, and will be on hand to ensure your special day is worry free and filled with
special memories.

We require the hotel to be booked in its entirety for a minimum of 2 nights in Winter
Season and a minimum of 3 nights in Peak Season in order to be used as a wedding
venue. Please see our 2012 rates below:

2013 Hotel Bed and Breakfast option Peak Season:
1 January 2013 to 31 March 2013 & 1 September 2013 to 31 December 2013

Entire House Rate (11 rooms, 22 pax maximum)            R86 715.00 per night

2013 Hotel Bed and Breakfast option Winter Season:
1 April 2013 to 31 August 2013

Entire House Rate 11 rooms, 22 pax Maximum              R82 665.00 per night

2013 Villas Bed and Breakfast:

All Villas Rate 5 Villas, 20 pax maximum                R56 205.00 per night

The Wedding Couple will receive a complimentary night’s stay for themselves when
booking the entire hotel for a minimum of two nights on the entire house rate (as per the
above Bed and Breakfast Rate) This complimentary night may be booked after the
wedding has taken place.

Please note the following conditions applicable to the above mentioned rates for
2013:

   When booking the entire house on a bed and breakfast rate, please note that any
    additional lunches and dinners will be charged per person to the main account.

   The rate for all persons attending the wedding is:

    Option 1:

    R 450.00 per person (menu available on request)

    Option 2:

    R 600.00 per person (menu available on request)

    Option 3:

    R 850.00 per person (menu available on request)

    Inclusive of a three course wedding meal and the venue hire.

    All beverages will be charged for on consumption.

    Please note that the hiring of any tables, chairs, furniture, linen, crockery, cutlery,
    glassware, additional staff and any other extras will be for your own account.

    The three course wedding meal can be chosen from our suggested sample menus
    and with the assistance of the Executive Chef, the menu can be changed to
    accommodate your requirements or preferences.

    Please note that the above wedding day rates are subject to change in accordance
    with choices or amendments to the menus and any other changes.

   A 15% service fee for administration and gratuity will be levied on food and beverage
    charges and not on accommodation costs

   A consumption bar will be available on the wedding day. A price list for our bar
    beverages is available upon request. All beverages consumed will be added onto the
    main account.

   Activities, spa treatments, transfers, telephone calls, curio shop purchases, reserve
    wines and other extras will be charged for and are not included in the rates.

   Additional services can be arranged by La Residence. These include the wedding
    cake, photographer and videographer, hair and make-up, music and entertainment,
    flowers, the minister, styling, transfers, extra accommodation for wedding guests
    etc. Prices received on these additional services will be charged, plus a 20 %
    administration fee per service arranged by us.

Terms & Conditions for Weddings at La Residence

Payment & Cancellation Policy

   A 50% deposit on accommodation is payable within seven days from date of
    confirmation, with the balance due fourteen days prior to guests arrival (please see
    applicable cancellation fees below.)

   Confirmation of the total number of guest attending the wedding reception is due 30
    days prior to the wedding date along with full payment (please see applicable
    cancellation fees below.)

   A Reservation is not secure until such time as a deposit has been received. La
    Residence reserves the right to cancel a reservation without prior notice, unless the
    deposit has been received or the terms and conditions have not been adhered to.

   Payment can be made either via a direct wire transfer or any major credit card
    (American Express, Diners Club, Master Card or Visa). We require that a credit card
    authorization form be completed in full. We would like you to be aware of fraud
    prevention procedures imposed by all banks that require a great deal of personal
    information before they will process any payments in excess of R 5, 000.00 on your
    credit card. Therefore it is imperative that we receive the correct information from
    you.

   Cancellation fees will be levied in the event of cancellation and in accordance with
    the reservations terms & conditions of La Residence.

   The following cancellation fees will apply should a booking be cancelled within the
    following period:
        o 4 weeks and more before arrival – 25% of total accommodation fee and other
            additional fees incurred
        o 4 to 2 weeks before arrival – 50% of total accommodation fee and other
            additional fees incurred
        o 2 weeks before arrival – 100% of total accommodation fee and other
            additional fees incurred

   We would suggest that guests travelling from abroad be covered by a travel
    insurance policy in the event of unforeseen circumstances or events.

The following conditions will apply:

   Kindly note that no liquor or food that is not supplied by La Residence may be
    brought onto our premises.

 Marquee Hire: Marquee Tents can be hired in at an extra cost – quotes can be
    provided

   Our function hours are as follows:

    Bar closes at 00h00 and other operations at 02h00.

   Should the house, gardens, décor or napery be damaged during the setup or duration
    of the function, the client will be held responsible and be billed accordingly.

   All furniture on the property may not be moved or re-arranged without the written
    consent of the General Manager.

   A Deposit of R60 000.00 is payable in advance, 2 weeks prior to the wedding. This
    deposit will be refunded two weeks after the function less the outstanding balance of
    the main account. Any breakages or damages incurred will also be deducted from
    the deposit and are calculated on replacement cost plus 20%. Should the balance of
    the main account be greater than the deposit received, the difference will be billed
    accordingly.
