  Welcome back Greater Melbourne

Queensland will once again have its borders open to the entire country – with today’s
announcement that the Greater Melbourne hotspot declaration will be revoked from
1:00am AEST this Saturday, 27 February 2021. From Saturday, there will be no
restrictions for travellers from any part of Australia – with no border declarations
required.

This week TEQ revised our ‘advice for travellers’ webpage to make it even simpler for
travellers to understand if they can come to Queensland and what the requirements
are. You can share this page (which is reviewed daily) with your upcoming guests or on
your website and social channels to help guests plan their trip.

For further COVID-19 restrictions updates (there are several), please see further below.
