Courses Offered by CNV
●   Our partner club, the Club Nautique de Versoix (CNV), is
    offering special conditions to the YCC members taking its
    dinghy courses.
●   Spring 2021: weekly dingy courses
    –   YCC members : 480CHF (normally 600CHF)
    –   Tuesday April 27 to June 15, from 6 pm to 9 pm (8 lessons).
●   An advanced dinghy course on Fridays.
    –   YCC members pay only 480CHF instead of 600CHF.
●   Summer dinghy course,
    –   YCC members pay only 300CHF.
●   You can register as of March.
    –   IMPORTANT contact Michel Chevallier YCC course
        coordinator, and NOT via the online form on the CNV web site

Typical Ycc Course Evening

• Starts at 6pm prompt
  – Get there in advance, have a coffee at the buvette ..
• 30 to 45 mins to rig and launch.
• About 8pm the wind stops
• Derigging and berthing,
  – another 30 mins
• Debriefing at buvette, the Green Book
  – and occasion to share experiences with other students.

Dinghy Sailing Equipment

• Wetsuit (not Diving)
   – Not a shorty,
   – 3/5 mm long legs
      • Colder than normal start to year – 5mm
      • Protection on knees, elbows
• Boots
   – Keep feet warm, protect them
• Gloves
   – Without the tips
   – Wet hands are fragile, pulling wet sheets (ropes)
• Splash Vest, Hat, Sunglasses, Sun cream
   – Not essential but practical
