Loftsails Technology 2021 All Loftsails 2021 designs are new. Across all sail lines, in all sizes, critical design parameters have been updated for 2021. Luff curves have been redistributed, vertical shapes have been modified, and leech configurations have been redesigned. The result: significantly improved performance across all models in the Loftsails range. Fresh design concepts for Loftsails 2021 have created sails that have a more generous upper/forward profile shape, to deliver greater forward-oriented drive. New leech outlines and higher aspect ratios have improved rig reactivity. An expanded palette of trim possibilities is the result of intensive Loftsails 2021 research and development.

DEDICATED FOIL SAIL
Windfoil dedication: the Skyscape 2021 range includes two styles of sail:
Skyscape 5.8, 6.4 and 7.0 sizes are reactive in light winds and ideal for foil initiation/foil freeride.
Skyscape 8.0 and 9.0 are exceptionally powerful and ideal for light wind foil competition.
Newly evolved Skyscape 5.8 6.4 and 7.0 profiles improve early flying ability. These 5-batten 3-cam designs have a moderately-narrow mast pocket.
They are particularly well suited to light winds and across-the-wind foiling.
The new high-aspect Skyscape 8.0 and 9.0 are 6-batten 3-cam designs with moderately wide mast pockets. They are especially powerful in light
winds, and very well suited to upwind / downwind foiling courses.

The totally new Skyblades are 7-batten 4-cam high aspect designs that are a development step from the Loftsails Skyscapes.
Skyblades combine enhanced stability with the powerful, pump-able Skyscape design package. The additional batten and cam shift these new sails
to the upper-end performance level of competitive wind foiling.

The Racingblade is Loftsails’ dedicated slalom racing design. On the competition circuit since 2007, the design is developed with attention to
blistering acceleration and top speed.
Planchemag Racingblade 2020 verdict: “Very complete”
Efficient and stable profiles, a relatively free leech, and wide ultra-low drag mast pockets are designed into the Racingblade.
Wide mast pockets require firm tension for smooth airflow efficiency. The Racingblade mast pocket construction is unique: all 3 layers - the mast
panel and the two mast pocket sides - are tensioned by the tack pulley webbings.

The Raceboard class is a classic in windsurfing competition. Raceboard regattas typically have tight starts, exciting mark roundings, tactics based
on continuous wind changes, and - as always - speed is rewarded. Raceboards are also ideal to learn windsurfing and to develop long-distance
techniques and recreational windsurfing skills. Launching can be from the beach, or from a marina. Elevated board buoyancy and light rigs make
