Indonesia
Indonesia is the largest archipelago in the world with more than 17.000 islands, huge population
with more than 270 million people from multi ethnic groups, 700 languages dialects which are
spoken across the Indonesian archipelago.
Indonesia geographically is surrounded by two continents and two oceans. This position gives a
huge economic advantages to Indonesia in international trade traffic lane such as for establishing
diplomatic relation, business (import - export) will be more cheaper, trading or other business
with countries around the world.
As for books and literature, we are the biggest market in South East Asia. There are more than
1,600 publishers listed as member of IKAPI (Indonesian Publishers Association). The Asean
Economic Community allows Indonesians books to be distributed throughout South East Asian
region. Indonesia is an opportunity to have a business and a place to learn from professionals.

About IIBF
Indonesia International Book Fair (IIBF) is an
annual book exhibition organized by IKAPI.
It was established in 1980 under the name
of Indonesia Book Fair (IBF). To reach bigger
audience, in 2014 IBF became IIBF with Saudi
Arabia as its first Guest of Honor country,
followed by South Korea in 2015 and Malaysia
in 2016.
Indonesia is the largest market of books and
literature in South East Asia. As a melting point,
Indonesia International Book Fair offers a full
package place to promote books, education
and culture, to meet potential buyers and to
interact with publishers, authors, readers,
literary agents, librarians, artists, educators
and other professionals in creative industries
from around the world.
Indonesia International Book Fair is a hybrid
book fair. It is a mix of B to B and B to C book
fair. In this event there will be conference,
seminar, workshop, discussion, book launch
and many other activities. There will be more
than 130 shows in 5 days with approximately
150 thousand visitors and 100 offline and
online media coverage. Yes, IIBF is a perfect
place to connect with global audience.

organizations and other international exhibitors. In 2019, international and
national exhibitors will be side by side as they promote their publication or
programs to the public.

10Indonesia Rights Fair (IRF)
Is a special place for copyrights transaction and co-publishing activities. At IRF, publishers,
authors, literary agents or copyright owners can promote their copyrights to others such as
publishers, movie makers and other interested parties.

Booth Price
11Terms and Conditions
1. Candidates apply the registration form to organizer of the IIBF 2020.
2. Candidates will choose booth/area (subject to availability) and fill the registration form
and submit to the organizer.
(iibf@ikapi.org, subject: IIBF/Name/Institution/Country/Booth No.)
3. The selected booth/area is formally assigned to the candidate once the candidate
has made the down payment first.
4. The selected booth cannot be handed over to another party.
Cancellation of Participation
1. The Organizer has the full right to cancel the participation of any candidates who fail to
make the down payment and/or the full payment before the fixed date, and the down
payment is non-refundable.
2. In the event that the cancellation is not caused by any mistake by the candidate.
All payment so far made will be refunded to the candidate.
3. Candidates are not allowed to reduce the number of ordered booths. In case of any
reduction in the number of booths, the down payment is non-refundable.
4. The advanced money already paid to the organizer is non-refundable.
5. On the occasion of an emergency situation (force majeur) that impacts the course of
the exhibition or leads to delays in the implementation of the exhibition, such as natural
disasters, strikes, riots, currency changes by the government that affect the goods and
services, as well as other regulations beyond the control of the committee, then neither
party is entitled to compensation.
Payment Terms
1. Registered candidate are obliged to make the down payment (50% of total fee) within on
week after the date of registration.
2. If the candidate fails to pay the down payment during the fixed date, the organizer has the
right to redistribute the reserved booth to another candidate.
3. Special discount for early bird for full payment before 31 March 2020.
4. Full payment (100%) has to be made before 31 July 2020.
5. On the occasion that a candidate fails to make the full payment (100%) before 31 July 2020,
the organizer has the right to cancel the participation and the down payment is
NON-REFUNDABLE.
