1      DESCRIPTION:
       Once everyone has gathered, you'll take a two- hour private shuttle to your f irst hotel, Flanigan’s Inn. Here you will enjoy a
       picnic lunch prepared by your Trek Travel guides. Your guides will then lead a short round of introductions bef ore
       discussing the rules of bike saf ety and of f ering some specif ic cycling tips f or riding in Zion National Park. They'll ensure
       you a comf ortable f it to your bike and f amiliarize you with some of its f eatures. Then, the red road awaits! Pedal along
       the banks of the Virgin River to the Temple of Sinawava and turn your gaze upwards at the towering Navajo sandstone
       clif f s above. This evening, you and your new travel companions will meet f or a drink by the Virgin River f or a wonderf ul
       tale of Zion Canyon bef ore sitting down to a delicious dinner in the lively desert town of Springdale. Take in the
       incredible surroundings as the sun sets over the canyon rim.

          DESCRIPTION:
          Following a leisurely morning at your hotel, you will begin today's ride pedaling east f rom the f amous mile- long Zion
          Tunnel. Ride along a red ribbon of road that traces the path of ancient rock f ormations, underneath piñon and
          ponderosa pines, in and out of petrif ied sand dunes, and past the Checkerboard Mesa. You will leave the Park f or a
          short while to enjoy a delicious f arm- to- table lunch at Cordwood. Once you’ve explored the f arm a bit, you’ll hop back on
          your bike and ride towards Zion Tunnel once more. Choose to add on a f ew miles af ter a short shuttle and descend
          sweeping switchbacks to the f loor of Zion Canyon on your way to the hotel. This af ternoon, you may choose to get
          back into the park on f oot by taking advantage of one of the many hiking options. If you aren’t af raid of heights, we
          recommend the iconic Angel’s Landing, one of the most dramatic hikes you will ever do. Or you may decide to spend
          your time in the many art galleries and shops of Springdale or simply relax poolside. This evening Springdale’s
          restaurants are yours to explore f or dinner.

          DESCRIPTION:
          Hiking of f ers an intimate way to enjoy Zion's diverse and expansive trail system, and today is your opportunity to
          explore the Park on your own on f oot. You may discover the f abled Virgin River Narrows (water level permitting) and hike
          through clear water beneath towering rock walls. Tackle the challenging Observation Point Trail or select a shorter walk
          to Weeping Rock or the Emerald Pools. Whatever you decide, your guides will be available to provide suggestions and
          inf ormation on where to explore on your own, and provide lunch f or you to take on the trail inside of Zion National Park.
          You’ll spend your f inal evening together reminiscing over the week’s adventures at the Bit and Spur restaurant.
          Challenge your guides to a game of pool over margaritas bef ore a great Mexican dinner at this Springdale mainstay and
          local's f avorite.

          On your last morning, you can rise early f or a f inal spin beneath Zion's unf orgettable towering clif f s. Take advantage of
          the quiet early morning road to ref lect upon your adventurous weekend. Ride along the Pa'rus bike path and up to the
          western entrance of the Zion Tunnel. As you head back towards the Inn, down the six sweeping switchbacks you just
          rode up, you will be treated to f antastic views of the canyon and the Great Arch of Zion, The West Temple, The Sundial,
          and the Altar of Sacrif ice all bathed in spectacular morning light. Or, take the morning to sleep in and indulge in some
          much- deserved rest bef ore check- out.
