The Junior League of Atlanta, Inc. (JLA) is delighted to present its 25th Summer Duperon
Anniversary Tour of Kitchens, featuring an exclusively curated collection VP, Fund Development
of Atlanta’s finest kitchens and homes. This year we celebrate our silver
anniversary and welcome esteemed designers and real estate agencies Laura Guerin
to the Tour, while raising proceeds to support JLA’s community work VP, Internal Operations
including hunger relief and healthy eating programs for children.

About the Kitchen
This 100-year-old house located in Grant Park recently underwent a major renovation. The
homeowners of the 1920’s Queen Anne-style house had two goals for the renovation; to
maintain the architectural integrity and historic relevancy of the style and to update the GRANT
house with modern luxuries. Walking through the house you will see natural pine wood
floors, brick fireplaces, and specially designed millwork to reflect the historic style. Designer

Jenny Lyons of Dove Studio worked with the homeowners to design a kitchen that reflected
their style and complements the original aesthetic. Together, they decided on neutral tones
with attention to detail in the millwork. Element standouts include the three-piece crown
molding and custom mullion glass doors that were designed to reflect the time period. 299 Ormond Street

About the Kitchen
Completed in the summer of 2019, the kitchen features an open and accessible
layout with top of the line appliances, ample storage and a modern, warm feel. A
MORNINGSIDE walk-in pantry is hidden when the pocket door is closed. The neutral tones are muted
but crisp with creamy floor to ceiling cabinets that hide two ovens, a refrigerator
and a freezer. Opposite is a dish cabinet, which has beautiful black detailing inside.
The base cabinet profile was designed by the homeowner and the oversized island
with a waterfall edge serves as a grounding element and focal point for the room.

About the Kitchen
Designer Kristan Moore presents guests on the 25th Anniversary Tour of Kitchens a stunning
kitchen design with old-world charm for modern times. The simplicity of the black and
white design draws the eye to the bold use of a black hooded range that centers the room. BUCKHEAD
Black hanging pendant lighting directs guests to an eat-in island covered with white marble
atop white shaker-style cabinets. In addition to serving as a food prep and conversation
piece, the island separates the kitchen from an informal dining area that seats four. Kristan
worked with the homeowners to create a kitchen that is both luxurious enough to host very
special guests and practical enough to host family dinner.

This beautifully renovated Brookhaven bungalow features a stand-out kitchen that is a true
showstopper. Designer Meredith Petty worked with the homeowners to create a completely
new layout in the home, adding windows and an addition to bring in as much natural light as BROOKHAVEN
possible. The beautiful oak flooring complements the creamy white custom inset cabinets
and a dark walnut-stained island. The stunning natural stone counters were carried from
the counters up the wall in soft curves that mimic the custom carved feet on each run
of cabinetry. The rest of the living space flows easily around the heartbeat of the home,

Designer Ronald Jones brings an artistic and upscale flair to this Brookhaven kitchen,
adorned with black subway-style tiles and walnut floors that present the perfect contrast
