                                                           ADVANCED PRE-K (AGES 4-5 YEARS)

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:

Ms. Heather’s Advanced Preschool for children ages 4-5 will begin on Tuesday, September 3, 2019. The last
day of the program will be Thursday, May 21, 2020. This program will be offered four days a week – Monday,
Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8:50-12:30. There will also be optional after school classes offered
from 12:30-1:30 each day.

Each child will participate in developmentally appropriate activities for his or her age level. This Advanced Pre-
K experience will emphasize growth in language and literacy, math concepts, science, social studies, arts,
health and physical development, and social and emotional growth. We use an advanced curriculum
integrating Pre-K and Kindergarten objectives to challenge and meet each student’s individual needs. All
students will have the skills needed to learn how to read before the end of the school year! This is also a great
program for children who need one extra year before Kindergarten. Your child will have the advantage of
receiving a quality Christian preschool education in a small setting with a certified, experienced teacher. All of
our Pre-K teachers have also taught Kindergarten!

This private Pre-K program is for children ages 4-5 years old as of September 1st, 2019. The Registration Fee of
$200 per child is a non-refundable and non-transferable fee, which reserves your child’s spot in the program.
It is used to order art supplies, consumable Pre-K work books, class folders, school book bag, school tee shirt, a
school year subscription to weekly preschool magazine, and much more! The annual tuition can be paid
monthly in the amount of $325 for the months of September-May if all payments are made by the 1st of every
month. Tuition is due on the first day of each month with late fees beginning on the 5th of each month.
Absences will not result in a reduction of tuition as registration is for the full school year (9 months).

Ms. Heather’s Educational Adventures provides a balanced literacy approach to reading, which includes
teaching phonics, phonemic awareness, vocabulary, fluency, and reading comprehension. Our Pre-K students
are engaged and encouraged to love learning. Our hands-on teaching approach promotes higher level
thinking skills, cooperation through fun group projects, and encourages self-confidence. Experienced certified
teachers individualize instruction to ensure that each child is challenged and learning new skills. Students will
participate in several events to make learning fun! For example, Pre-K students participate in a Teddy Bear
Picnic during “T” week, the “QU wedding” during Q week, Science Mania weeks, optional field trips, and so
much more!

Parents will pack a healthy lunch for their children. Parents will also be asked 2-3 times during the year to
provide a large box of crackers, cereal or other healthy snack for the children to share as a mid-morning snack.
Children must be completely potty trained to attend the program.
