  the routines.
 Staff spend time with the children to ensure
  they settle into school.

  children.

Quality First Teaching
Reception children follow the EYFS curriculum
We build the foundations to support children throughout their time
 in education
The 3 prime areas of learning are Communication and Language,
Physical Development and Personal, Social and Emotional
Development and they are embedded into the planning, teaching
 and learning, throughout the year.
The 4 specific areas of learning include Literacy, Mathematics,
Understanding the World and Expressive Arts and Design and are
planned to enable children to be challenged, at every level.
Alongside the 7 areas of learning are the characteristics of effective

They underpin the learning and development and support the child
to remain an effective and motivated learner.
