L’Oréal
PERSO AI-POWERED
SKINCARE DEVICE
Standing 6.5 inches tall, Perso is the world’s first AI-
powered device for skincare and cosmetics, delivering
personalized, on-the-spot formulas. By harnessing the
power of Artificial Intelligence and connectivity through
a mobile application, the level of personalization
will be optimized over time as the system uses geo-
location data and local environmental conditions to
learn about the user and their skin. The 3-in-1 device
will also be able to create custom formulas for lipstick
and foundation. Through continued use, Perso will
get “smarter” to deliver optimized and more accurate
formulas.

Why do we love it?
A leader and innovator in Beauty Tech, L’Oréal
continues to push the boundaries by creating smart
products for everyday use. If you know anything
about product design and technology development,
watching a global company achieve this level of
innovation is awe inspiring. In our opinion, Perso
epitomizes a perfect blend of consumer products,
Internet of Things, and tech-enabled devices that
make you say, “Yeah, that’s pretty cool!”

Heatworks
DUO INSTANT
HOT WATER CARAFE
A first-of-its-kind, battery-operated, hot water carafe
heats water instantaneously as you pour. Anytime. Any
temperature. For anything. Made specifically for busy
lifestyles, the DUO Carafe is battery-operated and can
heat up to 4 cups of water instantaneously to (+/-) 1° F.
Simply add cool water to the reservoir, replace the top,
and pour. You’ll get filtered cool or precisely heated
water to fill up your coffee mug, tea cup, soup bowl, or
even baby’s bottle. On the go.

Why do we love it?
Doing something difficult but making it look easy -
now that’s a product we enjoy talking about. It may
not sound like much, but changing the temperature
of water instantaneously from cold to hot (or vice
versa) takes a lot of energy and requires innovative
engineering. DUO’s Carafe is very cool...and hot!

Cybex
E-PRIAM ELECTRIC STROLLER
Revolutionary smart technology meets luxurious
design in the e-PRIAM - the first electric stroller
by CYBEX. Intelligent, intuitive, and exceptionally
innovative, the e-PRIAM empowers you to glide up
and down hills with ease, and smartly adapts to rough
terrain like sand, gravel or cobblestones. Once the
electronic system is activated, the e-PRIAM uphill,
downhill, and rugged terrain support monitors pushing
and pulling effort, making a steep or uneven surface
feel like strolling along a level sidewalk.

Why do we love it?
Innovation in baby tech is a no-brainer, and only gets
better year after year at CES. The CYBEX e-PRIAM is a
perfect example of innovative designs blended with
decades-old products. Low-tech/no-tech companies
selling baby products are not only playing in this space,
but baby tech continues to trend upwards as a big
category in consumer electronics. CYBEX already has
a number of products in the market. This one, however,
really caught our attention and is intriguing enough to
make this year’s CES trend report.

Great consumer products don’t need to be overly
complicated, they just need to solve real world human
problems, and that’s exactly what the MamaRoo Sleep
Bassinet does. Based on research done by 4moms

Linksys
Aware Wellness Technology
Linksys, a company known more for their wireless
routers, has developed an industry first technology
to enter the wellness space. Linksys Aware is a brand
new feature/service that leverages a homeowners
WiFi network to identify movement through the varying
intensity of wireless signals. While the Aware feature
works with current Velop routers for home intrusion
use cases, Linksys also plans to release their Wellness
Pods. The Wellness Pods use the Aware technology at
a much more precise scale to detect subtle differences
in sleeping patterns and even a person’s breathing rate.

Why do we love it?
While there have been subtle advances in the
consumer wireless router space with WiFi 6 and
features like mesh, the Linksys Aware technology has
the ability to change how consumers use their wireless
systems. It is always inspiring to see industry leaders
step back and challenge their teams to find new and
different applications for their core technology that
truly enhance consumers lives.

LEXILENS DYSLEXIC EYEWEAR
With 10% of the world’s population affected by dyslexia,
Lexilens is breaking down barriers for children suffering
from this learning disorder by giving them a tool that
allows them to read. A recent discovery identified the
probable cause of dyslexia, so Lexilens is leveraging
this science to help dyslexics read, giving each and
every child the opportunity to fulfill its potential.
Lexilens eyewear is comfortable, simple to use, and
compatible with prescription lenses.

Why do we love it?
Although not yet released, we’re very excited to see
Lexilens pursue a solution for those suffering from
dyslexia. When children experience set back with
learning delays and disabilities, it can be detrimental
to their growth, maturity, and overall self esteem.
It’s amazing to think this technology can not only
improve a child’s ability to learn, but also have a
major positive impact on their entire life.
