Australian School-Based Apprenticeships An SBA involves part time work (1 or 2 days per week) as part of the student program An SBA can be included in your VCE

As a ‘rule-of-thumb’ what students get out of VCAL is
proportional to the effort they put in.VCAA Requirements A VCAL requires a minimum of • 2 units of Literacy • 2 units of Numeracy • 2 units of Work Related Skills • 2 units of Personal Development • 1 VET unit (90 hours) VCAL can be awarded at Foundation, Intermediate or Senior Levels
