Toyota Corolla Hatchback
With the hatchback version of the 2021 Toyota Corolla, you’ll find squeezing into even
the tightest spots is possible. With its shorter 172-inch length, small spots are your new
best friend. Plus, with its much larger 17.8-cubic-foot cargo space, you’ll have room
for all your favorite equipment.
Toyota Corolla Apex
This model features a newly designed exterior with its black and bronze body,
available spoiler, and lowered height.3 You’ll also experience an extra-athletic
feel with the sport-tuned suspension and solid stabilizer bars.
Performance Capabilities

This optional feature gives you the freedom to customize your commute any way
you’d like. Depending on the model, drivers can choose up to three different
performance settings. Let’s take a closer look at the drive modes offered with
each model and their abilities.

• Normal: This is the recommended setting for daily commutes. It works by
creating a balance between fuel-efficient driving and extra performance.

• Normal: Again, this driving mode blends all driving styles together

2021 Toyota Corolla Safety Features
While it’s fun to travel around town with premium power, truly the most important thing
is reaching your destination as safely as possible. To do this, you can thank the standard
features of Toyota Safety Sense™ 2.0.
This comprehensive safety suite is made up of six different full-time safety monitoring
systems. Each one utilizes advanced technology, like cameras and sensors, to monitor
a range around your sedan. These standard safety features include:
• Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection: This system utilizes
a front-facing camera that constantly scans the area ahead of your sedan.
If it detects a potential hazard, like a vehicle or pedestrian, you’ll receive
an alert. Under certain conditions, it can apply automatic braking.
• Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist: If you start to unintentionally drift
from your lane, this system can provide an alert so you can safety readjust within
your lane. Thanks to the Steering Assist feature, your Corolla can sometimes
provide automatic adjustments, so you won’t stray from your marked lane.
• Automatic High Beams: Thanks to this feature, you won’t have to switch back
and forth between high beams and low beams at night. Using smart technology,
this system can detect the presence of another vehicle. It will turn on your high
beams when needed and turn them off when they’re not necessary.
• Road Sign Assist: You’ll always know what the signs you’ve passed say,
even if you’ve missed seeing them. Thanks to the Road Sign Assist feature,
the speed limits, Do Not Enter signs, yield signs, and more are all displayed
on your Multi-Information Display screen. That way, you’ll always be familiar
with your surroundings.
• Lane Tracing Assist: This system can help keep your Toyota Corolla centered
in your lane by using the marked lines of your lane as a reference point.
• Full-Speed Range Dynamic Radar Cruise Control: Thanks to this feature, you
can keep a pre-set distance between you and the vehicle ahead of you while
your cruise control system is set. That means, when they slow down, you will, too.
For drivers who want even more safety features, you can opt for the available Blind Spot
Monitor with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert. With this system, you’ll always know what’s going
on to the sides and back of your sedan.
