BUFFELSDRIFT
       Just north of Pretoria close to Roodeplaat dam, lies a bushveld haven filled with trails made up of farm
     roads, cattle paths, dual tracks and strategically designed single track for mountain bikers and the Nissan
     Trailseeker event. The terrain is hard and rocky amongst the grasslands but boasts with rivers and canals.
      Wildlife can often be seen on these routes, so keep an eye out for some buck species. The routes form
                                       part of the popular Buffelsdrift Trail Park.

REGISTRATION
We are changing up the cycling scene by eliminating the registration process and getting our clients to experience the trails
without standing in long queues. If you already have a SASeeding timing board, you don’t have to go to pre-registration at all.
There will be a Scan & Go station at the event to check if the board is in working condition, more time for coffee with the buddies.
Goody bags will be handed out after the race, along with your medal and nutrition.

            SPECTATOR POINT & TECH ZONE
      Buffelsdrift will be the first Nissan Trailseeker
        Series event in Gauteng with a spectator
        point and tech zone at Sefudi, located at
        the Buffelsdrift Trail Park. Spectators can
      enjoy all the action on the field with delicious
             coffee and scrumptious snacks.

ELITE MARATHON
This category is for elite riders only.

MARATHON
The Marathon route is a challenging distance with numerous sharp turns, climbs and fast downhills.

HALF-MARATHON & E-BIKE
The Half-Marathon is deemed for intermediate, recreational riders who will need to have a fitness
level to take on challenging short climbs and rocky surfaces.

FUN RACE
The Fun Race is an easy route, aimed at beginner mountain bikers. A high level of fitness is not
required, and the route consists mainly of dual tracks and gravel roads, with some nice single tracks.

FUN RIDE
The Fun Ride is for the youngsters or families who wish to ride together.
This is a less competitive category and anyone can take part.

SA XCM CHAMPIONSHIPS
Because this is the SA XCM Champs, Pro Riders will apply a SAS Race Category Sticker to their seat post. This sticker will be essential
to all riders competing for that number one position. These stickers will be available at regsitration. Please be sure to take the correct
sticker according to the category you are racing in.
