LOCATION:            The 55th Annual SMU Air Law Symposium will be held virtually!!
Register for the event and a dedicated link to the conference will be sent to you shortly
before the symposium. There will be separate links for each day of the conference that will
be sent to the email you use to register.

REGISTRATION FEES:                      Early Registration for our virtual event is $150 per
person. To secure this discounted rate, payment must be received in full by Monday,
March 1, 2021. Registrations can be done using our online link on our website or by
check (made payable to the “SMU Air Law Symposium”) that are mailed to our office (see
information in the Symposium Information Section above). If paying via check, please
download, fill out, and include the form found on our website https://smulawjournals.org/
jalc/air-l-symposium/ with your check. After March 1, 2021, the registration fee is $195 per
person.

SPECIAL RATES:                   As an incentive for first-time attendees, a special rate of
$100 is offered. Government employees may register for $125 per person. The Student
registration rate is 50 per person for non-SMU students. The Government and Student
rates are restricted to full-time employees of state or federal government agencies and
full-time students. Please select one of these rates when registering online or you can
send a check and registration form (see link for form in Registration Fees Section above)
to our office address (see Symposium Information Section above).
All registration fees include the cost of all sessions of the Symposium, one set of Symposium
materials, and a one-year subscription to the Journal of Air Law and Commerce.

REFUND/CANCELLATION POLICY:                                     Registrants needing to cancel
an existing registration must contact our office at 214-768-2570 or email browning@smu.
edu. Up until March 15, 2021, a full refund of the registration fee paid will be given. After
March 15, 2021, registrants who cancel their registration or do not attend the Symposium
will not receive a refund. The link to the online materials will be sent to you after the event.

CLE ACCREDITATION:                          The 55th Annual SMU Air Law Symposium
provides registrants with continuing legal education credits suitable to meet various
states’ mandatory continuing legal education requirements. Depending on each state bar,
generally 8 to 10 hours of CLE credit are awarded for attending the Symposium. CLE
hours will be tracked for each attendee via the dedicated link that is sent to you to sign
into the event. This dedicated link will identify each attendee by the email address on your
registration form, so please log in and out using that email address. For CLE Information,
please email our CLE editors at clejalc@smu.edu.

COURSE MATERIALS:                         Each registrant receives a link to our course
materials as a part of the registration fee. Those unable to attend the Symposium may
purchase a copy of the course materials for $50 online at https://sites.smu.edu/apps/
events/air-law/materials.asp.
