ABOUT OUR PROGRAM 2020 / 2021 Thanks for your interest in the Texas Blaze. 2020 has been a crazy year under the C19 pandemic! Fortunately the Blaze was prepared to take advantage of whatever came our way. During the shutdown we rolled out the most innovative, robust remote training program of ant travel ball org in the country! Our players had the ability to not miss a beat when it came to training at home. We sent out training drills, webinars, live zoom chats and meeting along with many other ways to keep our members engaged and learning through the shutdown. This very successful program will continue to be the normal for additional training in our program even after the pandemic goes away and we return to more traditional training. Learn more about our remote training here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/ UC5f8gfetIgXHb8ZdJvnrBsQ Ultimately, the premise and mission of the Blaze are to provide the highest level of training and competition possible to prepare our players for successful careers in high school as well as scholarship opportunities in college; however, the emphasis on leadership, character building, and life-skills will always remain a top priority for our players. To date, our players have earned opportunities at schools of all levels that include many Power 5 Conferences programs like Florida, Tennessee, LSU, Alabama, Ole Miss, Texas A&M, Baylor, Texas, Texas Tech, Indiana, Iowa,Georgia Tech, North Carolina. In our short history as a program, over 350 Blaze players have either played and/or committed to play collegiate
ABOUT OUR PROGRAM 2020 / 2021 softball. Also, the Blaze has fielded nine collegiate all-Americans, three Team USA members, and five Pro players. Being a Nationally recognized program is essential to our mission, and with that, the program had tremendous success. Each year many of our teams play on a national stage competing in the top national tournaments around the country. We understand that if you want to be the best, you must play the best. However, with this being said, we offer a wide range of competitive environments, which include both national and regional based teams. Each team is treated as an individual and can choose the path that makes sense for their particular goals. In 2016 our 18 Gold team was the first team in Texas history to win the TCS/USA NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP in New York City. The championship was on ESPN3 and provided a significant amount of national exposure for the program. In 2018 the Blaze has become a part of the Wilson Athletics family and has a full partnership which means wholesale pricing on all things Wilson which includes DeMarini, Louisville Slugger, Evoshield. Wilson is currently working on a 24/7 Blaze Wilson store which will offer products directly at discounts. Also in 2018 BLAZE UNITED NATIONAL program was created which consists of three Demarini sponsored teams in the 14u, 16u, and 18u age division. These teams will unite Blaze players from all around the state of Texas and will compete at the very highest level possible. Additional Blaze partnerships include New Balance, Bownet, and Mizuno. Their products are also available at discounted pricing for our members! We strive to be the premier fastpitch club in the country for over-all softball experience with a focus on development, competing, and college recruiting. Thanks for being here and the best of luck! The Texas Blaze is recognized by the IRS as a for Non-Profit 501c3 Corporation. As a Texas non-profit organization, we are governed by the rules of the IRS. Unlike competing area programs that are for profit, all profits earned by the Texas Blaze through membership fees, fundraising, and all other sources must be returned to the program in a manner that directly benefits the kids. Our goal includes making the Blaze affordable for everyone wishing to play softball at the elite level. Since you have chosen to participate in our tryouts, you have serious interest in the highly competitive select softball experience offered by the Blaze. The Texas Blaze B-Recruited Program is an
innovative approach to helping athletes with their
dream of collegiate softball. The program is a
model based equally on technology and
interpersonal relationships and has helped more
than 350 athletes with opportunities to play
softball in college!
With the Blaze model, you will not require any 3rd
party recruiting sources to be successful. The Blaze
utilizes both technology and relationships with
college coaches that have been built and
maintained for more than 10 years!
Quite simply, the B-Recruited program works
whether a player aspires to play in the SEC or get
started at a JUCO to transfer to a four-year college.
OUR PILLARS FOR SUCCESS
INTERPERSONAL RELATIONSHIPS
For more than twelve years, Blaze recruit coordinators have been building and cultivating relationships
with college coaches around the country. This is incredibly important to recruiting success and a
component that many travel ball teams struggle with. College coaches want to "trust" the environment
the player they recruited is coming from. They Blaze program has proven time and time again that our
kids are correctly developed for success at the next level. For the Blaze athlete, having experienced
recruiting coordinators in their corner cannot be understated. Whether a player needs advice on what
schools are looking for, or perhaps camps to go to Blaze RCs can help.
SPORTS RECRUITS
SR is a software platform that aids the college recruiting journey is so many ways. It's truly remarkable
software. Players use SR to aggregate all information that is needed to create and market their resume
to college coaches. Players can do all the research required to make decisions on college choices.
Want to search all programs within 240 miles of home or every D1 in the country? Want to know how
much the college costs annually? Want to know how big the school is or if it specializes in the graduate
program you are most interested in? Want access to all the coaching staff emails? All of this is possible
with SR Recruit Software.
In addition, players can see if coaches have opened their profiles and/or watched their video. College
coaches can interact and email players within the software platform. Blaze recruit coordinators also
have access to player accounts to help them with the process of networking with college coaches.
There are many more features, but the bottom line is players now have ONE PLACE to manage their
recruiting progress.
NEW FROM SPORTS RECRUITS FOR 2021
FRONT ROW
SR Front Row provides a new direction for on-demand video. It allows game footage, clinics., combine
footage to be tagged with participating athletes. These tags then allow athletes to clip out highlights
and also provoke college coaches opportunities to watch full events right in the Sports Recruits

TOURNEY BEACON
The new SR Tourney Beacon provides a digital player book for college coaches when they arrive at
tournaments. For example, thru the exclusive college coach beacon app, they will have access to
schedules, tournaments and even in game information in realtime. For example, they show up to a field
at a tourney and open their app and click on a listed game, then all the athletes in that game will show
up in their app and ready for coaches to evaluate, make notes and other cool features. This is a game
changer in helping college coaches have the info they need when they need it!
TECHNOLOGY & DATA
The Texas Blaze is partnered with On Deck Softball, Blast Motion, Virtual Combine, Athletes Go Live,
Flightscope, Wasserman HLT and One Softball for additional recruiting tools that colleges now seek
from programs. College coaches want data and player development, and these companies are some
of the best at it.
FLIGHTSCOPE - New for 2020/2021
The Texas Blaze is one of just a few programs across the country to acquire and implement Flightscope
into both recruiting and training. This high tech data capture radar is used in the MLB system as well as
top colleges from around the country. Data from this platform will be a huge recruiting tool advantage
for Texas Blaze members!
ON DECK SOFTBALL
Since launching The Allister Report in 2002, OnDeck Softball has expanded to nationwide recruiting
events and online resources. ODS programs have helped thousands of players earn spots on teams at
Junior College, NAIA, Division II and Division I programs.
In fastpitch softball, OnDeck Measurements (ODM) is the recognized authority in objective
measurable, comprehensive raw softball athletic data. Individual objective scores and the
corresponding Allister Index (AI), have become the most essential objective statistical measurements in
player assessment, self-evaluation, and player development. The Allister Index is a measurable
snapshot of a player's softball athleticism. The number is generated from the individual's scores and

BLAST MOTION
The Blast solution collects and presents objective information, helping coaches and athletes transform

College coaches can search Blaze athletes utilizing any attributes that are important to them. For example if they want to know who is the fastest kid in the Blaze, that info will be available in a professional online website. Blaze Academy Team option allows teams to
handle their own finances and create a budget
that make the most sense for their team.
How Does it Work?
Academy Teams make a seasonal contribution to the
Blaze twice per year to be a part of the program.
Once in Fall and once in Spring. There are no
reoccurring monthly commitments once the season
fee is paid.
Academy teams have org fundraising options that
could raise thousands of dollars for team and even
negate all membership fees to make playing in the
Blaze costs nothing!
Texas Blaze Academy teams are independently run, meaning the coaches will set the team budget for
tournaments and other expenses as well as the team dues used to fund the operation of the team. This
allows each team fl exibility in how money is spent.
One time annual player registration fee of $135 - due upon accepting a roster spot.
• All rostered players for 2020 / 2021 must complete this registration regardless when they join
team. Registration fee includes a 2020/2021 Special Edition Practice top!
TEAM SEASONAL FEES
• FALL (Sept thru December) - $600 / Due Oct 1st
• SPRING & SUMMER (Jan thru July) $900 / Due Feb 1st
• Full Payment for all seasons receives 10% discount at $1350
TWO REQUIRED ACADEMY / TEAM FUNDRAISER RAFFLES
• Blaze Org fundraisers are designed to create a fundraising option for teams or individuals as
well as the organization itself.
- First 36 Tickets ($10 tickets) to Blaze Nation Fundraiser (this is required minimum for all Academy
teams, there is also a $360 opt out option.
- All additional tickets sold will add $8 per ticket directly to team account in the form of “Blaze Bucks”
- Example - team sells 240 tickets total (average 20 per player) team account is credited $1632 to
their account.
Revenue (Academy Bucks) earned thru raffle to the player accounts can be used for:
- Uniforms, Apparel, Equipment, Blaze Custom Shop, Blast, B-Recruited Program
- Cannot be used on the Wilson Team ShopAs a Blaze Academy Team members teams benefits from being a part of a top fastpitch
organization.

PLAYER DEVELOPMENT & SUPPORT
