breaking weekend. As President of the Wallsend West Newcastle Swans ARFC I could not be

2 Lisa Morales fantastic wins with our Seniors on Saturday. Firstly, our Senior women had a historic win
3 Kate Booth against Port Stephens cracking the 100 mark in a well deserved final score of 108 to 20. This
4 Melissa Richardson has pushed them into the top 8... so well done ladies... a great win. Amy Pittman top scored
5 Georgia Fox with a record breaking 8 goals for the Swans. Best on field included Amy Pittman, Alyce
McCloskey, Bridie Simpson, Lisa Morales, Georgia Fox and Ashlea Finn.

Our Senior men also cracked the 100... in fact the 200 point barrier with a massive win over
8 Melany Fisher Singleton... the final scores at end of the last break being 208 to 13. Again another run

11 Jasmine Gosper ing top spot on the ladder...something we have not done in living memory. Well done team...
12 Mel Nelson a bloody top effort. Best on field for the men included Blayke Carpenter, Henry Gore, Gareth

The Pride Cup is about celebrating diversity and inclusion in sport and the fight against dis-

initiative and welcome our involvement. The Swans prides itself as a strong family and com-
munity club, promoting inclusion at all levels, whether it is sexually, religious or cultural. The
Swans see diversity in sport as the future growth area for our club and as such strongly sup-

So, all Swannies, parents, friends and supporters... please come to Muswellbrook on Saturday
May 4 and support our Pride Round and help us promote diversity at all levels in sport. It
would be great to get as many there as we can to cheer on the Red and White to victory. The
Family Hotel, Newcastle Pride and Highlite Fitness are the Swans major sponsor.
