Apollonia is a beautiful Oyster 70 yacht,
one of only four ever built.
I have known this particular yacht since she was new whilst I was a shipwright serving my
apprenticeship with Berthon Boat Company. I subsequently project managed the current owners first
refit at SYS in 2010.

Whilst she has had professional crew much of her life she has also been enjoyed by the present owner
without full time crew being easily handled with in mastfurling by the owner and his son when day
sailing. Having had money spent in the right places over the years she has looked after her past and
present owner(s) as well as they have looked after her.

Her current owner a WM Club Member has lavished over Apollonia and systematically been
maintaining, upgrading and enhancing as part of her ongoing maintenance programme.

£695,000 tax paid.

Willett Marine Club Boat - Currently For Sale

In my mind Apollonia is the real deal with regard
to ocean cruising yachts in this size category.
Aesthetically this yacht remains a head turner with her
beautiful Holman and Pye lines she draws attention
wherever she cruises, a true Oyster classic flagship
yacht. Powerful, solid and dependable vessels of lasting
quality that is not seen in new builds today. Yachts that
really are a home from home and keep a crew safe –
and will for decades to come.

A yacht of this quality will retain value at this price
level unlike many of the newer and more expensive
yachts on brokerage especially after big ticket
items such as a new deck that’s better than the new
build standard. This yacht has to be viewed to be
appreciated. Prepared for a new season by Willett
Marine this yacht is a ready to go sailing opportunity.
