  PROJECT CHALLENGE:
Vodafone Germany wanted to improve deployment of its voice and data services
for business customers.

  OUR SOLUTIONS:
Deployment of 24,000 access points delivering voice and data services (multiple
connections, Internet, IP VPN, IP telephony), via a variety of technologies (including
Ethernet, SDH and PDH) and mobility solutions (Wireless Local Loop, UMTS/LTE
Backup). A dedicated cross-disciplinary team assigned to the project to provide
Vodafone with a single point of contact throughout Germany.

Vodafone significantly enhanced the quality and speed of rollout for businesses, thanks
to end-to-end solutions covering everything from commissioning to customer services :
faster billing, improved customer satisfaction (lead-times and service levels).

  PROJECT CHALLENGE:
Provide students and faculty staff at the university with an advanced world-class
information and communications system based on a complete IP infrastructure.

Axians designed and installed a local network for the entire university campus
(providing fixed and wireless access) and deployed a single, unified voice and data
communications system. The network involved the installation of robust security
solutions at every level.

  PROJECT CHALLENGE:
EDHEC Business School wanted to improve data and network security for users
at its different sites worldwide – Paris, Lille and Nice in France, as well as London
and Singapore – which are interconnected via a WAN. The school was keen to have
a single point of contact to handle the entire project end to end.

  OUR SOLUTIONS:
Axians developed a customized, seamless security solution encompassing firewall,
antivirus, URL filtering and advanced data routing, which was implemented at all
EDHEC sites worldwide thanks to close cooperation among partners in our Service One
Alliance network. Axians is also responsible for operating the enhanced security system.

  PROJECT CHALLENGE:
For DPD – one of Europe's leading private parcel delivery networks, real-time data on
day-to-day operations is critical to every aspect of its IT infrastructure, information system
and business processes (sales, operations, management, customer service) at each and
every one of DPD's sites.
  OUR SOLUTIONS:
Axians implemented its dedicated logistics software solution, CargoNet, which covers
DPD's entire mission-critical IT infrastructure and applications suite. After conducting
an audit of the client's legacy system and assessing its evolving needs, Axians' team
of specialists developed and deployed a customized solution. Today, they continue
to provide hardware and software maintenance within the scope of an exacting service
level agreement (SLA).

Mr.Bricolage (France)
  PROJECT CHALLENGE:
Mr.Bricolage, one of France's leading DIY retailers, employed a heterogeneous mix of IT
systems and infrastructure at its stores nationwide. It decided to rationalize its installed
based and reduce operating costs by implementing a single unified platform for its entire
network. The retailer opted for a data-hosting and managed IT services solution.
  OUR SOLUTIONS:
Axians designed and implemented a private cloud-based solution covering the retailer's
entire IT infrastructure. Features include highly secure data hosting and secure access
by stores over an extended MPLS (Multi-Protocol Label Switching) network. In addition,
the Mr.Bricolage online store has been integrated into the new solution. The platform
is operated by Axians within the scope of a managed IT services and 24-by-7 lifecycle
support agreement.

Mr. Bricolage now boasts a highly secure, unified and centralized IT system, operated by
a team of cloud solutions specialists. The solution has also enabled the brand to reduce
overall IT costs.

  PROJECT CHALLENGE:
M6, one of France's leading private French TV and media channels, called on Axians
to redesign and manage its Web platform.

  OUR SOLUTIONS:
Beginning in 2013, Axians designed, deployed and is now operating the M6 Web
platform, together with its VoD and live TV/replay service, 6Play, via a hybrid cloud-based
managed solution (Amazon technology). In addition, Axians implemented an audience
response voting system for the Rising Star musical talent show based on a real-time
voting application.

Axians' highly specialized expertise and one-stop-shop approach covering all critical
aspects of M6's business has resulted in simplified management of its secure, cloud-

  PROJECT CHALLENGE:
The Isère regional authority, selected Isère Aménagement as the prime contractor
to develop and deploy a public very-high-speed broadband network across the region
in the east of France.
  OUR SOLUTIONS:
Axians designed and built the FTTH (Fiber To The Home) infrastructure for the network
as part of the public tender. As well as helping to define the optimum route
and contributing to project development upstream, Axians teams built, deployed
and coordinated the entire operation. Covering everything from design through
to maintenance, Axians' turnkey solution has delivered a fully scaleable, very-high-
speed-broadband network.

Leveraging Axians' deep technological expertise, the regional authority has rolled out
a network that helps address the growing the needs of the local population: creating jobs,
giving everyone access to digital services (such as e-healthcare and e-government),

City of Eindhoven – AiREAS project (Netherlands)
  PROJECT CHALLENGE:
As part of its drive to recover from post-industrial decline and rebrand its image as a hub
for innovation and creativity, the Dutch city of Eindhoven wanted to deploy a unified,
real-time air quality monitoring system using NO2 sensors installed at traffic lights. AiREAS
is a pioneering project involving doctors, engineers, researchers, elected officials
and citizens as part of an open, collaborative platform.
  OUR SOLUTIONS:
Axians designed and installed a network of sensors measuring various air quality indicators
at traffic lights across the city, together with the IP network that transmits data to
the authorities to give them a real-time view of pollution levels and temperature. This data
is also shared with university research teams studying the links between pollution levels
and the increase in certain types of disease.
  CLIENT BENEFITS:
This is the first project of its kind on a city-wide scale in Europe. It is based on an innovative
concept of all stakeholders pooling their expertise and understanding to work together
to meet growing demand among citizens for a cleaner, healthier city.
