About Draper & Dash
Draper & Dash Healthcare (D&D) is a London based Venture Capitalist (VC) backed
healthcare AI and machine learning predictive data and analytics company. We leverage
data from the public sector and private healthcare companies both nationally and globally.
We provide organisations with solutions that improve quality, safety, outcomes, efficiencies,
and opportunities. Over the years we have worked with over 70 healthcare providers in
Australia, the UK and US, helping them to drive cost improvements, form new strategic
partnerships, improve health outcomes and more.
Draper & Dash Healthcare (D&D) dedicate in excess of £1m per annum solely to R&D into
the development of our Healthcare Solutions. Our focus remains on the advancement of
healthcare solutions specifically related to improving quality, safety, efficiency, and overall
world-class patient care.

providers, with large enterprise healthcare providers such as Sydney Children’s, Northeast

St Thomas, North Mid and others. We have worked with some of the largest community
providers such as Central London Community Hospitals (CLCH), East London Foundation

Background
Building on last year’s successful event, the 2020 annual Executive Patient Flow Summit’s
focus is to create a space for the most forward-thinking senior leaders from across the NHS
to share, reflect and plan. Over the course of the day, through facilitated group sessions
delivered by Subject Matter Experts, participants will explore the most urgent and enduring
challenges facing Trusts in the current climate, and within think-tank sessions begin to
develop approaches to tackle these.
The group discussions provide spontaneous masterclasses in how to develop initiatives
across a range of areas covering: policy, processes, access, quality, workforce, cost saving
opportunities, operations, mental health, managing variation, vertical/ horizontal integration
and infrastructure. The most marked impact we have seen in previous summits is the palpable
impetus and energy amongst attendees as we take the opportunity to come together and
spend a Friday working with other senior leaders to plan for the future.
Being able to go back to each of our worlds on Monday morning, with stories and solutions
to the problems we face daily truly galvanises a sense of purpose and epitomises exactly
what this summit aims to achieve. Perhaps most importantly, this summit’s core goal is to
erect a sense of renewed hope and confidence in the face of the biggest challenges Trusts
have seen since the inception of the NHS.
