                              started her property career with SLP International

                              Since 2014, he has been providing consultancy to SMEs
                              and assisting them in their journey to leverage on
                              technology for productivity. He had advised companies in
                              the area of AI, Data Analytics, Digitalisation and
                              Automation. Currently, he is actively driving the Tech
                              Depot Initiative, a public private partnership between
                              Public and Private Sector to drive technology adoption in
                              SMEs. He holds a Master of Business Administration from
                              National University of Singapore, Master of Science
                              (Mechanical Engineering) from National University and 1st
                              Class Honours in Mechanical Engineering from National
                              Technological University with Exxon Mobil Gold Medal.

Catherine Szulyk
                            Head of Operations
                            ipaymy

                            For the past decade Catherine has worked at MNCs
                            throughout the US, Europe and Asia Pacific in sectors
                            ranging from oil and gas to consumer electronics. With a
                            background in engineering her passion is building
                            products users love. In 2017, Catherine made the
                            decision to take on a more entrepreneurial path by
                            joining ipaymy. For the past year she has led the
                            operations for the organization and is loving every
                            aspect of the journey.

                            Sandy Tsang

                            Sandy Tsang is the Managing Director, APAC of leading
                            global training provider AVADO. With a background in
                            digital marketing, Sandy worked in the financial sector
                            for more than a decade.

                            Some of her accomplishments at American Express
                            include having brand and direct response digital
                            advertising oversight for new product launches,
                            introducing programmatic media buying, leading
                            multivariate web tests, and integrating social media into
                            PR and advertising.

                            Stephen Wang

                            Steve Wang is the Managing Director of Asia Pacific at
                            Talent Plus. Wang is a trusted advisor to our C-suite
                            client partners in the creation and positioning of
                            leadership development programs to optimize the
                            impact of talent-based selection and strengths-based
                            management in our Asia Pacific office. As an in-depth
                            consultant, Wang works closely with global client
                            partners through coaching of leadership excellence and
                            researching talent. He focuses on team alignment
                            approaches and succession planning strategies.

Having been a part of the Asia Pacific team over the past
four years, Wang brings significant experience in several
industry verticals and enterprise scope. His expertise
ranges from large-scale operations implementations,
M&A activity and private equity work to entrepreneurial
startups, with projects jurisdictions encompassing the
U.S., the E.U and Asia.

Prior to joining Talent Plus, Wang was Managing Director
with ALC, International, a project management and
leadership management consultancy for the information
and communication technology sector. He oversaw
major projects in new technology deployment for
multiple large clients, including counties and
municipalities in New York City, Los Angeles, the UK and
France to execute and support new systems rollout. He
also served as a senior consultant to the U.S.
International Trade Development Agency to assess and
evaluate market and leadership strategies for the ICT
industry in Romania. Projects included Cloud Computing,
Telemedicine, National Library RFID, land cadaster
systems, and Port of Constanza infrastructure
improvement. Previously, Wang was a senior executive
at InfoGROUP, a U.S. business and consumer data
provider in a global strategy capacity, leading teams in
Canada, the UK, India, and China.

Wang holds a Master’s of Business Administration
degree from Creighton University and a
Master’s of Law in International Trade and Transactions
Law as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science
and International Relations from the University of
Nebraska – Lincoln. In addition, he maintains several
international trade, leadership development and project
management designations.

Audrey Tay (Panelist)
Principal Manager, Enterprise Engagement Office
SkillsFuture Singapore

Prior to joining the Enterprise Engagement Office,
Audrey had worked on skills development issues from
the workers’ and policy perspectives. She considers
“people”, enterprises’ greatest asset. At this point of
inflection in Singapore’s economy, whether enterprises
will be disrupted or ride the wave of disruption depend
on how aligned their people and business strategies are.

 BoonSeong is a certified Practising Management
Consultant (PMC), and a regular speaker and practitioner
on Future-Readiness and Workplace Happiness in
Singapore and the region, featured in Channel NewsAsia,
Towards Total Health Conference (Health Promotion
Board, Singapore), International Well-Being Symposium
(University SIM, Singapore), Bosses Network Learning
Cruise, and many others. He has over 15 years’
experience implementing people strategy, business
innovation and change management programme,
spanning from his employment with Singapore Airlines
(SIA), and as founder of Align Group.
He was a recipient of ASEAN Scholarship 2000, being
conferred the Singapore Economic Review Book Prize
2003 as the best graduating student of the cohort in
National University of Singapore, and won the most
coveted SIA CEO Award 2008 for leading service
transformation in SIA when managing the Indonesia
market. He worked at the heart of the first wave of
disruptive technology, navigating SIA to compete
successfully in a changing landscape of online travel and
budget airlines.

His passion for appreciative people management has led
him to the founding of Align Group in 2012; the company
aims to enable organisations to grow through internal
transformation of people and culture so to actualise
their potentials and value-adds to the society. Within a
short span of 5 years, Align Group has established itself
as an influential thought leader in the SME space,
appointed as programme partners to Enterprise
Singapore (ESG), SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG), Singapore
Business Federation (SBF), and Singapore National
Employers Federation (SNEF). Its unique business

Gillian Woo (Panelist)

Gillian was involved in several key initiatives at WSG to
improve the employment facilitation assistance to
Singaporeans, such as the conceptualisation of the
eCareers Transformation Plan, which resulted in the
development of the MyCareersFuture.sg digital service,
organisation of virtual career fairs and hosting of
webinars. Gillian was also involved in the appointment of
two overseas career matching providers to complement
the career matching services offered to Singaporeans in
their career planning, and the roll-out of Adapt and
Grow initiatives such as the Careers Support Programme
and the Career Trial. She was also instrumental in the
localisation and recruitment efforts for the two
Integrated Resorts, working closely with Marina Bay
Sands and Resorts World Sentosa to assist them in their
manpower development and training needs.

Prior to joining WSG, Gillian’s experience was
predominately in the Tourism and Hospitality industries,
primarily responsible for the business development and
sales and marketing of new growth markets in Asia and
the Australasia region.

Glenndle Sim (Panelist)

Mencast Group

Glenndle Sim is Executive Chairman & CEO of the
Mencast Group, an Oil & Gas and Marine services
company listed on SGX Mainboard. He is responsible
for the strategic vision, overall management, operations
and growth. As well as serving as Executive Chairman of
the Board, Glenndle is a member of the
Nominating Committee and Corporate Strategy &
Communications Committee.

Glenndle was awarded “Best CEO” in year 2014 at the
Singapore Corporate Awards in the category of
companies with under S$300 million in market
capitalization and EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2013 in
the Marine and Offshore Engineering Services category.
Glenndle graduated from the National University of
Singapore with a Bachelor in Business Administration
and later obtained a Master of Business
Administration from the University of Delaware in the
USA. He is also a graduate of Harvard Business School’s
Owner/President Management Program. He was
appointed to our Board on 30 January 2008 and was
appointed as the Executive Chairman of the Board on 9
October 2009.

Jason is involved in developing enterprise-centric
initiatives to support employers in hiring and reskilling
Singaporeans, as well as preparing their workforce for

Lee Kai Xin (Panelist)

Kai Xin is a human dynamo sheathed in deceptively
demure togs while balanced on a pair of dangerously
high heels. Getting her started on all things interactive is
to watch her blaze an illuminating trajectory in
demystifying digital marketing and communication and
making it work for you.

With a running start in IT marketing at Lenovo and later
Microsoft, she finally hunkered down and decided to
become an entrepreneur. She built the digital & social
media business at Wild from grounds-up over the past 6
years. Since then she has won over 30 awards and
helped brands such as OCBC, CPF, Tesco, Eu Yan Sang,
Drypers & SMU, build their digital & social media
presence.

Peggy Lim (Panelist)

                            Peggy leads a passionate team in the Enterprise
                            Engagement Office to drive the promotion and adoption
                            of SkillsFuture in enterprises. She believes the
                            sustainable way for businesses to remain competitive in
                            the age of disruption is to recognise the importance of
                            skills and invest in building capabilities of the workforce.

                            Miss Stella Tan, age 47 joined Skool4kidz in 2016,
                            handling the full spectrum of Human Resource functions
                            with the HR team. Skool4kidz is the appointed Anchor
                            Operator by ECDA to run preschools and currently we
                            have 450 headcounts and 15 centres island wide.

                            She has over 20 years of HR experience in various
                            industries e.g. Early Childhood, Construction, Retail,
                            Manufacturing and F&B.

                           Gillian leads business development and marketing at Lu
                           International, where she oversees building corporate
                           partnerships as well as running both regional and local
                           branding and marketing activities. Prior to this, she has
                           spent over 10 years in McKinsey as a consultant as well as
                           a leader of Panorama Asia, a Fintech and banking focused
                           solution. Gillian has also published several articles and
                           reports, including the flagship Asia Pacific Banking Review
                           as well as an overview of the ASEAN landscape with
                           McKinsey Global Institute.

Gillian holds an MBA from INSEAD as well as a BSc
in Accounting and Finance from London School of
Economics

Quek Leng Chuang
Executive Director and Co-Founder
Environmental Solutions (Asia) Pte Ltd

He co-founded Environmental Solutions (Asia) Pte Ltd in
1999, conceptualised and operationalised the vision frosm
a home office to its current manifestation of 2 industrial
sites in Tuas, Singapore. He continues to manage the
company as one that lives and breathes sustainability,
diverting and processing 36,000 MT a year of solid
industrial waste from the landfill. A true practitioner in
sustainability development goals, and in the conduct of
business.

In 2016, he embarked on bold plan to transform the
landscape of the electricity retail market in Singapore,
started the ES Power brand of Carbon Neutral Electricity,
with the noble vision of fighting climate change and poverty
through the medium of electricity.

Mr. Quek Leng Chuang holds a Bachelor of Chemical
Engineering (Honours) from National University of
Singapore and Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.)
from University of Leicester.

Shawn Phua

Shawn Phua is a Senior Business Adviser with
SMEcentre@ASME. He has helped numerous companies
tap on various government assistance schemes and
advised aspiring entrepreneurs on starting their business.
He will be sharing on some of the government assistance
