Progression to Second Year

Progression: Compensation provision
The Pass standard is 40% in each module.
However, a student with marks less than 40% in one or more modules may
“compensate” and will be deemed to have passed provided:
 - The aggregate mark for all modules of the year is at least 40%
- No mark is below 35%
- Not more than 15 ECTS have marks in range 35 – 39%

Note:
Where one or more of these conditions have not been met, each module with a
mark below 40% must be repeated. Marks of 40% and above are carried
forward to the next session and are not repeatable.
