GENERAL INFORMATION

Letter of invitation

If required, the Organizing Committee will mail an invitation letter for all the participants to
the Conference.
The invitation letter does not imply any commitment from the organizers to provide financial
supports. It is only aimed to help the scientist to get funds from their institutions or a Visa.

VISA
Passport and Visa information: please check with your travel agent or Italian
Embassy/Consulate if you’re required an entry Visa to Italy.

Congress Venue

The symposium will be held at Hotel Margherita, in the mountain resort of Alberè di Tenna
(Trento).

 How to reach the Hotel:
 -by air: to Verona, Milano or Bologna and from there by train to Trento and from Trento to
 Pergine.
-by train: to Trento and from Trento to Pergine.

    In both cases the organizing secretary has to be informed about the time of the arrival to
                      Pergine. You will be picked up at the railway station.

-by car: “autostrada del Brennero” to Trento. From Trento follow the signals to Padova; after
about 15 km, turn left at the signpost Ischia-Alberè-Tenna. After about 2 km, in the middle of
woods, on the left, you will see the Hotel Margherita.

The symposium will be organized in morning and afternoon sessions with oral communications
(PPT) and poster presentations. Official languages will be English and Italian, but all the
descriptions in PPT and posters have to be in English. Active participants are invited to send an
abstract (in English maximum one page A4 format) on-line in MS Word format, to be
reproduced as such.
Please fill in the registration form and send it together with the abstract, to Prof. Antonio
Toninello, at the address indicated, not later than July 10, 2011.

After July 10, 2011 the registration fee will be increased by 25 €.

SCIENTIFIC INFORMATIONS

                                ABSTRACT SUBMISSION
                                (DEADLINE: July 10, 2011)

The Abstracts have to be sent exclusively by e-mail as attachments files (microsoft Word) to the
organizing Secretariat: E-mail: antonio.toninello@unipd.it

Abstracts may include: Tables, Schemes, Figures and References. To mantain a consistent
appearance, all abstracts must be prepared in the following style:

   • maximum space limit is one page only
   • Times New Roman font (symbol font for special characters) and 1.5 spacing throughout
   • 14 point boldface font for the abstract title
   • 12 point normal font for author’s name
   • presenting author underlined
   • affiliations distinguished by superscript numbers if necessary
   • 12 point italic font for affiliations, text, references placed at the end of the abstract and for
     E-mail address of presenting author
   • one blank line left between address and the beginning of the abstract
   • maximum usable area for abstract is 16.0 cm wide and 24.0 cm high

  POWERPOINT “LECTURES” and “ORAL POSTER PRESENTATIONS”

Instructions:

The presentations will be carried out on the dedicated personal computer of the conference center
equipped with Microsoft Windows XP operating system. The digital presentation file should be
compatible with Microsoft Powerpoint 2010. Mac users should check in advance the PC
compatibility of their presentations. Please, bring your presentation on a CD, formatted with the
ISO9660 standard, or USB pen drive and check it with the projection staff in good time before your
presentation.
We do not support ZIP disks. If your presentation contains movie animations make sure they are
compatible with Microsoft Media Player or Apple Quicktime ver 7).

Posters: The space available for posters will be 70 cm (width) and 100 cm (height).
