BARNYARD BIRTHDAY PARTIES
Our birthday party packages are an
unforgettable experience for the young
and the old!
Come and enjoy some fresh country air,
surrounded with our friendly farm
animals and make this birthday, one to
remember! They can enjoy all the fun of
our undercover ‘Party Barnyard’ whilst
taking part in the hands-on activities
available ‘Down on the Farm’! This
makes for a unique and unrivalled
birthday experience.
You can also bring food to cook on one
of our BBQs, complete with condiments
and utensils to make your day that little
bit easier! We can help you arrange
decorations or food from the cafe next
door! You are also welcome to arrange
your own! Full and additional catering Please note the above
menus available on request from photo is the filled birthday

LET’S START THIS PARTY!
P LEA S E N O TE:
Your day starts at the front office with our
farmer from 9.45am or 12.45pm (depending on
which timeslot you have chosen).
Your farmer will take yourself/a couple of
nominated adults through to the barn for
you to set up your party.
At this time, we ask that all children remain
at the front reception with adult supervision
and can continue to welcome the arrival of
your guests at 10.00am or 1.00pm (dependent
on your timeslot)
Your Farmer will sticker up all guests as they
arrive and full payment can be made in the
office.
Once your guests have all arrived and you
are ready to get started, your Farmer will
bring your group down to the barn, give
them a short introductory talk and then out
onto the farm you go!
There is a short walk to the barn so ensure you are able
to carry all your items. Please note, prior entry to the
farm is not allowed for guests.
Your two-hour timeslot includes the hire of the
barn and your personalised Farmer to tour your
group around our activities.
Often birthday parties choose to start their
party with the tour, so any late comers can join
in and not miss out on any birthday fun and
food you have organised! Once the tour is
completed, you return to the barn and
continue to enjoy the birthday activities you
have arranged – like cake and presents!
At the end of your timeslot, we ask that you
vacate the barn leaving it clean and tidy. Even
though your time with the barn and the Farmer
is up, you are more than welcome to stay until
we close!

FAQ’S What time can I arrive to set up? The barn will be ready from 9.45am or 12.45pm (depending on which time slot you have chosen). It is not possible for this to be ready any earlier or for set up the day prior due to cheeky mischievous animals! What happens if it’s raining? All of our activities still run when it is raining. Contact us at least 24 hours before your booking if you are considering not going ahead because of the weather and we can reschedule you (subject to availability). We recommend in winter to let your guests know to prepare for cold and rain – so bring rain jackets and covered shoes/gumboots. The kiddies love the day regardless! Does my deposit go toward my party? Yes, your $60 deposit is taken off your payment on the day. It is non-refundable if you cancel your booking within 14 days of your booking date. Please refer to your Booking Confirmation. When do I pay? Payment is required once all your guests have arrived or before your time slot ends. I.e. by 12pm or 3pm latest (depending on which time slot you have chosen). How will my day run? This is up to you! You are welcome to arrange this prior to your party day or your farmer will discuss this with you on the day. Some things we will need to know is who you are paying for (and/or who is paying for themselves). Also, do you want to (A) - Complete the tour first and then have food, (B) – Eat first and then do the Tour, or (C) – Half and Half – Start with the tour, stop to eat and then finish the tour off. How do birthdays usually do payments for their guests Some parties pay for the whole party and others decide to ask parents to pay for themselves as it's only $10. Some parties provide a guest list to reception of who they are paying for and any extras pay for themselves.

food from the cafe next door! You are also
welcome to arrange your own! Contact us
for order forms and menus.
BBQ – please advise when making your
booking if you would like to use the BBQ.
We provide utensils for this and tomato
sauce, please ensure these are left in the
barn.
Full barn use – if you would like the entire
barn, this may incur a cost. Please contact
info@kiwivalley.co.nz to discuss.
